Same here.

I am also not naturally a hairy person. I could almost count, and name, the few hairs that grow on my legs. Cannot even see the peach fuzz that grows on my arms.

Unfortunately the fine thin hair is on my head also. When I had long hair, my pony tail was just over 1/2 inch thick. My little sister's almost 1 1/2 inches thick......the bitch. Then again, she has to wax further down. Apparently it is a trade off.

I think that by and large women tend to be less hairier than men, but I'm not about to go around inspecting random ass crack for comparison.
Personally, I'm not a very hairy person, and I only started shaving there because I'm neurotic and it bothered me. I go in for a Brazilian wax when I can afford it, but the rest of the time I use bikini shavers.
They're like a mini razor with a guarded blade so it's nearly impossible to cut yourself. You can buy a pack of 3 at Walmart for around $3.00.
Since they're pretty much cut-proof, I really don't need to see what I'm doing. I just shave by feel.

I've never shaved back there.  Until your post, I hadn't even though about the "hair lurking there".  I've been with my Sir for almost two years.  If this is something He'll require, I'll reckon He'll do the shaving.  I'll endure a lot of pain to please Him, but the likelihood of shredding skin on my rear to rid myself of hair, um, no!! [sm=nervous.gif] 

This has honestly been one of the most interesting and amusing threads I've read in quite a while.   The words coochie and Sasquatch almost put me over the edge.  [:D]

I wish i could help ya out, but alas ive never shaved "that", ive shaved everything from legs to arms, but never back there. One thing i can tell you is DO NOT use Nair.....it burns and hurts like hell. Good Luck with everything.

Thankfully, I don't have to... if there is any hair there, it's either so sparse as to be unnoticeable, or nothing more than the same invisible peach fuzz most people have all over their body. 

At least I think. [:)]  It's not an area that I view regularly and Firm has never complained.

I have had laser hair removal, though.  I should say "am having"... a year later and it's still a work in progress.  I made the mistake of including "the backside" in with my Brazilian.  Talk about ouchies.  (Don't let anyone ever tell you that laser hair removal is painless!) 

I've gotten to the point where I tell the technician that we can skip that part.  I'm not that much of a masochist.  [;)]

Believe it or not my lady uses tweesers. Part of being submissive I guess. It also makes it easier not being a very hairy person to start with.

i shave my armpits and my crotch, but i've never shaved my ass.  i have no hair there, i use a mirror to check.  If i did, i would take some of the advice here, i wouldn't want Sir to see a hairy ass.  lol

While I know that men like that totally shaved look, I refuse to go through the ingrown hairs and bumps that pop up with shaving.

I use an electric trimmer using the shortest (1) guard.  It takes it down almost to the skin.  I have very fine hair so its not like I'm real bristly down there. I just run it around my ass and so far have avoided cuts, ingrown, ect.

Frankly I tell anyone I'm with, that I am more than willing to go to the edge but will not go there the torture after a complete shave.  If they complain I dare them to shave down and see how it feels, as I have found most men like their bushes and forests....I usually get the your trimming is fine with me LOL

I have a few stray hairs that annoy me, so periodically I shave them. If I have a slave do it, he deals with them when he deals with the rest of the hairs. I sit on the toilet and spread 'em and do it by touch. (Not dangerous with a safety razor, really.)

I just tried a dilapitory cream made for the bikini area by Bikini Zone. It was completely painless and did the trick (including my butt crack). I used their medicated gel afterward to ward off the little red bumps. Now, there might torture involved when the hair starts to grow back in a few days, but so far, it hasn't hurt at all.

It's not very masculine in western culture. But I would contend that if the measure of your manhood (pardon the double entendre) depends on whether you're clean shaven or not, then there are other aspects of masculinity that you might want to do something about before worrying about body hair. Anyway, this cultural norm is changing, so if it helps, you could try considering it an avant garde affectation or something.

While I'm not a woman, and don't actually shave my ass, I would note that tweezers have never failed me when I want to get rid of body hair. It takes time, and it carries almost the same risk as shaving, but the result looks pretty good. I'm guessing that's why people pluck their eyebrows instead of shaving them. Also, you won't run the risk of nicks, since a tweezer is just pulling the hair out of its sac. If you apply alcohol afterwards, and you should, then please put the video on YouTube for the rest of us.

Personally, I don't worry about the hair on mine, but I think a few drops of gasoline and a flame would take care of any hair you want to eliminate.

Had my butt hole lazered four or five times, nice dark hairs are ez for the lazer to get.  Nice and smooth ass for play.

greetings to all,

I am a very naturally hairy person (something I hate, more than words).  If (for various reasons) a professional brazillian (my preference) is not an option, I just take a razor and some shaving cream, squat on the floor of the bathroom (no need for holding cheeks open if you get the squat right) and make myself hairless by feel (without a mirror).  Clean up is the most inconvenient bit.
