How does anybody explain suddenly jumping up from a deep sleep, looking at the clock, seeing the time, and then  a few minutes later discovering that a certain lost love had logged into a certain site at exactly the same time ?

I would explain it as something not needed... a waste of time basically because it doesn't fit into the prior critera of needs.  Useless information... move on or accept that there is more to it all.

Maybe so, but it is possible to love something that is actually unneeded.

Why bother?  You may not need love... may feel something you call love... but most human beings need love.  So call it what you will... put importance on it as you will... but why ask us?  It is clear you don't need our imput as you are so strongly attached to your own way of thinking.

I would be asking myself why I'm still stalking him and I haven't moved on with my life.

Either message her and tell her how you feel or walk away from her all together. Pining away is only going to drive you mad.

I'm with littlewonder. Take it as a wake up sign that you need to move on. And get some help doing so as you aren't being highly successful on your own.
