I loved Independence Day. That was just a great popcorn movie. The Day After Tomorrow was fun too. This looks like a nifty ride.

But nothing will happen. I'm sure it will be an interesting movie. Day After Tomorrow was entertaining, even though it wasn't based on any scientific facts (just like all the crackpot theories associated with 12-21-2012).

I hope the movie lives up to it's trailer. Kinda cute he picked Friday, Nov. 13 as the opening date. As for the rest; a girl can hope. Kim

It looks like it should be a good check your brain at the door and grab some popcorn movie. Time will tell. As for the actual date of December 21, 2012 - I believe it will be a Friday. Okay, it's a little creepy that different culture's prophecies point to that date as the end of the world and that it coincides with a galatic alignment - but only a little. I more worried about how people will act as that date approaches. Can a society psyche itself into self destruction? Time will tell.

Marc, I would be a lot more troubled about separate cultures having a common date for the end of the world if it WASN'T connected to some sort of galactic alignment. Now THAT would be creepy...
