Ok, these electro fly swatter tennis raquets I see used within BDSM, are they safe ? What sort of 'zap' do they chuck out, meaning what current?

Also, the electrode contact area, I take it when the front mesh contacts with the inner mesh, the capacitor discharge occurs in the form of the 'zap', but of the contact area, what if the raquet was dissasembled and the circuit used seperately, say, with a couple of pins for the contact area, would it still be acceptable for use on humans ?

I've had both the racket and the handle modification used on me. Usually it felt like  simple bee sting. The handle mod made it feel like  bigger bee!!

I've seen two types. The one with the bars on two surfaces and the mesh in between is better for swatting flies, but I've found them practically useless for play. It's too difficult to make contact with both the bars and the mesh. The better ones for play just have one set of bars, with the current alternating between the bars, + - + -. You're guaranteed of making contact with both on each swing.

First time I had one used on me, I was blindfolded, so I didn't know what I was being hit with.

What I thought she was doing, was that she was wearing a vampire glove, and was lightly swatting me with her hand.

I'd feel a bit of a swat or a slap, and then a sensation like a lot of little pinpricks.

I've seen a thread here on CM detailing how to do the conversion for the handle. Or, you can just remove about 75% of the metal bars. As for safe, there's no warnings on the product, for whatever good that might be. I think that as long as you're not running current across/through the heart, they should be relatively safe. I'm sure someone will know more.

I tried tonight after a few beers, tried zapping myself with it with the bat removed, so just bare wires exiting the handle Despite the white flash that looks impressive and scary when shorted out across metal, the zap was much like one would get from being twanged with a rubber band. Am not sure the movement was the result of it, or the fear of it.

Those electric flyswatters are famously loathed and despised by sub/slave types, who will find places to hide them from the D types.

I remember when I was serving my former Mistress. She was Mistress to me but sub to Her Dom Husband. I was always encourging Her to be nice to me or I'd buy Her Husband a bigger flyswtter!

Hahaha, that is by it's looks a converted electro fly swat, the handle gives it away.

Very similar to what I am making, although the fly swat handle is pretty low quality, something I am looking to make better.

Tell me though, the toy that you used, the red electrode cover, is it just red, or has the LED been replaced to in there to make the ''prod'' glow red when the circuit is live ?
