I am sort of hoping that Janet takes them.  She seems pretty normal and doesn't have any of her own.  That way they could all stay together.  I do know they probably shouldn't be raised by the grandparents, they had some issues it seems in raising their own.

He probably had a will, so I am sure that will come out as that is looked into more.  He worked so hard at shielding them and keeping them out of the spotlight..I fear they are going to get pushed into it big time now if they are allowed to raise them.

I's odd.. it seems the reality of the passings of late have sunk in. I find myself tearing up each time Farrah or Michael (even Ed) appear on the news.

I think it's the mortality check. A reminder how quick and unexpected life can pass. I still miss Harry after 28 years. (was 1981 so LONG ago?)

The song that reminds me of Michael's life is Ben

I'm sure Harry will be there to greet him in solidarity.

Just musing this morning.

Being reminded we are not to talk about certain topic's here... I am being careful not to bring those up, but I wanted to say that...

I've got reason for my belief's and I don't respect anyone in death any more than I do in life, I don't care who they are.  How many will show respect for say... Manson when he dies?  How many were respectful when Anna Nicole died?  Did it stop people from stating what they saw her as or many in laughing at her or judging her?  There are some that some of us will respect in death and some that hardly anyone would respect based on their personal take on that persons life.  Because someone dies does not make them anything special that deserves special treatment.  I will celebrate a life.  I am sorry for those who hurt.  But I owe no more respect for anyone in death than I feel they deserve in life,  and that is my opinion and I have a right to that opinion.  I am however sad that everything turned out the way it has in different situations or with different people and that people are sad or feel a loss.  But I am not going to show respect for the dead if I didn't respect them in the first place and if that makes me an ugly person in someone's eyes... to them I am ugly, they also have that right. 

When I die those that know me and care for me will mourn and maybe show some resepect of some sort but it doesn't matter to me because I am dead.  Their love and respect matters more while I am alive.  Those that don't like me or respect me can spit on my ashes for all I care.  They have that right to how they feel just as those who might mourn me.  But I won't deserve any special treatment simply because I left this life.

I just focus on the cute sweet boy of my childhood and remember how much the Jackson5 was a part of that. I also remember when he became a big solo act in my early 20's  when Beat it came out and watching the premier of thriller at the dance club I freqented. Everyone jumped up and got on the dance floor when Micheals songs came on. Also his Motown anniversary appearance that made him the pop icon he is today with his dance moves.

Lotus, it also gave me a weirdly odd, "damn I am getting old!" feeling.

Michael, the perpetual boy, dying at age 50 of a heart attack. Regardless of what caused it, the reality is, unexpected heart attacks are the number one killer of men age 50! Yet, no matter how fucked up weird the guy got, part of me still saw him as that tragic and oh so talented, boy. Not a middle aged man.

Then, the fantasy girl that almost all boys had on their walls when I was a teen, dies of cancer. Now that is tragic, but she was 62. Not exactly unusually young to be dying of something like that, at that age. I never SAW her as an older woman.

Just seems weird.

most folks this slave encountered (from 1991-2002) weren't happy about the working conditions---they say he was odd, erratic and a pain in the ass to please---and found somewhere else to work not long after.
there are those who wouldn't elaborate due to fear of repurcussions from the extensive confidentiality agreement signed by employees.
then there are those who just refuse to talk about it, saying that it is way too traumatic and they just want to get on with their lives.

Same here. Death is the great equalizer. No matter how we have lived our lives. Be it king or pauper.. we all die. What maters most is the impact on the lives we leave behind. May we celebrate and enjoy the good..and learn from the bad.

Maybe respect is not the proper word…at least in the esteem definition. But perhaps your true worth…either for better or worse…is in how you affect reality around you while you are with the living.

In that regard Michael Jackson deserves notice for his life, good or bad, and his death. Respect may be consideration for the time he affected your life...either as an entertainer…a freak show…. or as a tragedy showing the depths of human degradation we can all fall into if we don’t control our weaknesses.

Good or bad he will be remembered by many more people than I…unless my plans of world domination work out on the next few years.

I would of it was a better deal than seeing it clear through a court trial where my child*ficticious cause at this moment I dont have one* would be dragged through the mud and if I thought settlement would be less stress and less damage to an already damaged child.

Not saying he's good or bad, but If he didn't choose to get therapy and help for his issues, he chose to stay fucked up and it's not a valid excuse  to use for fuck ups to claim being scared from a bad childhood, not when help is available and out there for healing your childhood  and life traumas.

And then if the courts found you guilty when you were innocent,ahold of your son and convinced your son or other neighborhood kids in their investigation you hurt him too* it has happend before, all though there's tougher rules in place to keep it from happening so much* and you were sent away to jail for many years, would it of been worth it? Innocent people are committed to prison a lot, and now days there's people who will fight for your cause, but your name will still be ruined in your community, the stigma will still stick to you for the rest of your life.

Don't think it could happen? It did in kern county. I can't remember his name right now,a  new guy in power in a government office,  wanted to make a name for himself for tougher crime convictions and they drummed up a bunch of charges against these people, interrigated the kids until the kids said what ever they was being told to say, and these people lost everything. Nobody would take on their case and they all spent 40 to 60 years in prison, and in the case of one guy his son STILL believes his dad molested him and his dad didn't/

Not only once, but twice, she decided she wanted them again when MJ was on trial the first time for child molestation, and then according to hannity colmes, asked MJ for more money after that signed her rights away AGAIN
