henrythek23 -> anal training for a new male (6/26/2009 5:22:03 PM)

I tried to search for this topic in older posts, but didn't get too far.
I am trying to get myself prepared for anal by using some plugs.  I have 2 plugs; one medium, one large.  I am able to fit the large in after a few minutes with the medium, but it feels uncomfortable.  As soon as it goes in I want to push it out so badly.  It doesn't hurt so much as it feels unnatural to me.
I would like to know if this is totally normal and everyone that first does anal experiences it, or if this is my body's way of telling me to stop.
Thanks everyone.

I recommend the book Anal Pleasure and Health by Jack Morin

The initial time on any day i have inserted a butt plug it has come out. I wait a few moments and reinsert it and then it stays in with no difficulty. i do love the feel when i know it is secure in me -- as my body hugs it. Having an enemy first helps to make the process smoother. A glass butt plug is expensive but is preferable for more than one reason -- Two reasons are it slides in easier and can be more thoroughly cleaned. Another good choice when buying a butt plug is an acrylic one.

I would be very careful about listening  to what your body wants or doesn't want in this area.Without going into detail I know someone who had to have an anal device surgically removed and he ended up with a colostomy--no joke--err on the side of caution. Also you will lose sensitivity in the area and this could be very embarrassing..

There's a fantastic book which covers all aspects of this type of play, and I highly reccommend it: "Anal Pleasure and Heath" by Jack Morin, PhD.

Your rectum isn't designed for entry. It's purpose is to push out what comes in. You're pushing in a foreign object, and the body's natural response is to push it out. Just like masohists must overcome their natural pain response, you must overcome the natural response.

Breathe deeply. Try to relax. It is an unnatural event to have objects inserted into the rectum. Your response is much more natural than the opposite. Work at it. Learn to control yourself. You will be fine. It can be uncomfortable, but if your really didn't want to you wouldn't have bothered to post right? Feel free to pm me.

Visit Tristan Taormino's web site; I believe it's called puckerup.coom.
As someone who is a fan of giving and receiving anal attention, I recommend learning your body.  If it hurts, you're doing damage.  Do not use items that diminish sensation; they can allow more damage to happen and you won't know it until the sensation returns or you see lots of blood or such.
Different bodies have differing elasticities.  If you can explore with a partner, all the better.
Check out the site I mentioned.
Best wishes,

Someone noted in an earlier posting that the anus was not created for objects to enter and part of what wittybunny wrote read, "I would be very careful about listening  to what your body wants or doesn't want in this area."-- and i believe the saying which goes, "Listen to your body" are all good to keep in mind.

Keeping all of the above in mind, if you do decide to pursue using a butt plug please remember it is really important to very delicately go about using one. Starting with a small butt plug is a good choice and to use that size over the course of a while would probably be the best route. Don't hurry into using a medium sized butt plug -- a gradual process is the better route to go. Use plentiful lubricant.

you are seeking to have an enjoyable time, please don't try inserting something into your anus if in the process you are experiencing pain -- it's not worth it.

If you look at a butt plug and are taken back and think, "That's just outrageous to think that i could insert that in" -- it would probably be best to not use the object. "Better safe than sorry" is always preferable.

my knowledge ahout using butt plugs comes from people i have actually spoke with, communications via the Internet, information i've read from several websites, portions of a couple of books, and my own experiences.

Sincerely,
endearing
