Thanks for the advice, but I'll be doing fireworks of another style.  July 4th happens to be the Pact household going away bbq and play party.  We make sure the four legged friends are out of the play area.  The probably wouldn't care for the kind of cracking I'll be doing, either.

what will we be doing? if i get motivated enough, maybe a potato salad. hamburger? i got pickles last night, so keeping a little of the holiday theme! kinda loses it's impact when it gets dark at 5 pm, i'm all rugged up in sweaters and sheepskin slippers, and have the electric blanket on to keep warm [:D]

but they fizzle in the rain, which is all we get here. south aus not known for it's snowfall [8D]
