So i shaved my ass clean today and when i look at my work my butthole was red all the way around im worried something is wrong with me its not blood its just red

It may be that area is normally red and you could not see it before but more likely it is that you irritated it.
Get some Tucks wipes and that should help.

If in doubt ask your doctor.

You know what happens to an area when you first shave it?

It gets irritated!

:( Wish someone would have warned me the first time I did my legs way back when [:'(] Not that pleasant.

Anyways, just follow AngelikaJ's advice. It should be fine... and good luck when it starts to grow back!

Just put a little ice pack, (wrapped in a towel or cloth, not plain ice!) on it tonite for 15 or 20 minutes.  Check again tomorrow, you'll probably find that it's back to whatever color it was before.[:)]

Shaving in general tends to irritate skin, and the skin around the anus is very sensitive. Tincture of time will take care of it.  And since you are (presumably) blond, your skin will probably be more sensitive than the average.  In the end (pun intended) everything will be fine.

I'm sure that it will work out.  It's probably just irritation, especially if you used shaving cream/gel in an area not used to it.  And there was the point earlier that it could have always been a bit red, you just couldn't see it before.
I hope it all works out.  Always better to ask, than take a chance with your health. :)

I know this may be a little difficult to notice however if it is extremely warm to the touch, painful (if infected it is probaly going to be more than a little painful), and/or if you see any kind of smelly ooze come out (sometimes the ooze will be grean or white) then I think you should go to your docter.

Though anything is possible, I would have to find it hard to believe that shaving would cause an infection in that area even if you were to cut it a little. But, you should still clean the area before and after shaving in order to decrease the chances of any infection to appear.

it's a sensitive area and you probably weren't as gentle as you should have been, you did drag a razor blade across it.  i've done that to my girly bits a few times not realizing i'm not being careful enough.  some random advice...don't ever, ever put icy hot on an area with razor burn.  [sm=runaway.gif]

Good evening!
I would ask how you prepped yourself. A hot shower, or bath to relax you and using sensitive skin shaving gel. Then gently use your razor-a good one though-those disposables are always hell on me. I use Noxema Bikini razors cause they have little heads. Afterwards rub some baby oil with Vitamin E on where you shaved. Takes a few times to toughen up your skin but that whole genital area is so very sensitive. Or baby diaper rash meds-they really help -seriously. Good luck!
