Could be Steel. However, if that's the case, his profile is a joke too.

SteelofUtah -> RE: Bastinado (7/11/2009 6:29:24 PM)

I was refering to CaringandReals Comment.

The Op oddly enough just confuses me because I can't figure out if they are using a Translation program from a different language or if they talk that way but the manner of speach is just wrong no matter what language they are speaking if it turns out that english if the OP's first language then I have lost all faith in the public school system.

So......
The next time you're a naughty, your Dom should make you walk all day in 7 inch heels?

That might be an intersting thing to do to my sub...

Only if you try it yourself first. Because it's more than likely that what you'll be doing is breaking her ankle.

Oh and look who the op is, an old and unsuccessful type trying again with the same basic flaws that made his posts be considered a joke the previous time around. http://www.collarme.com/whipingherfeet

toture -> RE: Bastinado (7/12/2009 2:21:11 AM)

so what are you about 80 years old  isnt it time for you to go the rest home

WyldHrt -> RE: Bastinado (7/12/2009 4:09:06 AM)

Very mature [8|]

ranja -> RE: Bastinado (7/12/2009 5:31:34 AM)

CollarMe does not provide me with spellcheck only silly little smilies and such...and it is too much of a hassle to write post in word and then paste it here...
So i say light up on the spelling people...not everyone is brill at English...it is a rediculously difficult language even for people who were brought up with it...

And I love Bastinado...done to me

Of course we could do something interesting like using Strapido on him and then use Bastinado on him as well do you think?

Well in his journal he has a long list of how a male sub should submit to his Mistress, so maybe deep down inside he would like that.

Unlikely, because we've had the joy of dealing with him under his previous screen name. He behaves like a pig.

IronBear -> RE: Bastinado (7/13/2009 6:26:40 AM)

Well said OG, jolly well said.

DarkSteven -> RE: Bastinado (7/13/2009 6:43:30 AM)

I just hope he never finds a woman dumb enough to take him on.  You can do some serious damage with bastinado if you don't know what you're doing.

ranja -> RE: Bastinado (7/13/2009 7:55:53 AM)

How do you know who he is?
I don't understand this

Sooo it's to much of a hassle to write an intelligible post using word if you either don't have the skills to use at least a modicum of English or like a number here are dyslexic? Sounds like good old fashion laziness to me or could it be a display of: "I couldn't give a shit about others struggling to read my posts."? Of course we could just not bother replying to badly constructed posts and leaving the poster wondering why there is so little interest. Alternatively, we could suggest that the poster make use of word processing facilities to aid in writing. Just depends how seriously you want to post I imagine.

Saying the above to IronBear was completely uncalled for and very immature, SIR.  Oh,and btw, if anyone were to do Bastinado to me, I would swear profusely at him and that would be the last he would see of me.  EVER.

Now as far as the OP:

Yes it can be very effective, but someone needs to be aware of the nerve damage that can be done if not administered properly. Many years ago, when I first met my property, she bragged about her pain tolerance and that it would take a long time to "break" her into crying and begging. She had never had the bottoms of her feet whipped before, along with a few other techniques, and it took all of about an hour and a half. I have only had to administer it twice more since. She says that the lesson stays with her for a while, including a couple of days afterward as she walks.

Actually, No, they are not, and to say they are is just a cop out, against taking the time to pay attention and spell your name right, in my opinion

It is very very rare the name you want is so completely taken you have to mis spell it to get the name you want, and if it is, perhaps your name needs to be more original, so as not  to be so alike as every one elses that it's  not possible to spell it properly because someone else has the name already.

Cheap shot. In a place this size, all the correctly spelled user names are taken. Surely you know that? (raised eyebrows)

People can choose to put numbers or letters after or before a desired but popular user name, like "toture," or they can decide to slightly misspell it if they like the misspelling better. I see these misspellings in hundreds of profiles. Nobody is requied to do it the way you describe above, and many do not, and the misspelling means nothing except that they wanted a particular name badly enough to settle for one in which the letters are slightly rearranged. Have you really not seen these misspelled names on collarme? It's quite clear that many are freely chosen by very literate people who clearly know how to spell the original word. I sometimes do it myself on a board if the name I really want to use is taken and I don't wnat to dilute it with numbers or other garbage. It's an option that some people choose, and a very common one at that. I wonder why you feel the need to deny this?

There is nothing particularly "cop-outish" about choosing the user name that YOU want rather than one that someone "Thinks" you should have in order to "prove" to them you can spell. Know what I mean?

Perhaps that is one of the reasons you struggle so.  Refusing to learn from those who are well respected is a fault of your own.  I think you should add that one to the already extensive list.

Naw, no joke. I was serious. It's something I see a great deal of on the personals boards. I wish I could remember one popular word used in dom names that I've seen spelled at lesat eight different ways, by people who spell every other word in their profiles correctly, but I can't at the moment.

You haven't been here long enough to encounter this. Guys (for some reason it's always a guy) who has some fetish, and who harps on it in every damn post whether or not it is appropriate to the question posted in the thread. So when you have two guys from the same tiny town, exactly the same age, who go on and on about the one fetish, and talk about nothing else - well it is 99.99% sure they are the same guy.

Beyond that, spelling, grammar and vocabulary usage are highly ideosyncratic in people - more so in some than others - and an analysis of this has been used in court to determine possible copyright infractions.
