If he's making you feel dumb, why don't you just handle it the same way you handled all the people in this thread who made you feel dumb with their innocent comments? Now, now lets be fair. Just because someone is rude and obnoxious does not necessarily make them fake. I have met many dommes who I thought were assholes, it didn't make them any less real. It just made them undesirable as partners.

I was going to say that a D/s relationship isn't based on a list of things that make the D 'superior' to the s, it's based on the first wanting to dominate and the second wanting to submit. That's all it is, IMO. However, I'd imagine it does get difficult for many subs to see a person as dominant if that 'dominant' acts like a snotty schoolgirl. You do need a certain minimum of class to carry off the role, I think.

MANGO SALSA

4-5 mangos
cilantro( chopped fine)
black beans(drained)
purple onion(grated)
1/2 honey dew melon(grated)
Dressing

MANGO cutting..:
lay mango on its side..find the pit with your knife by pressing in

now..cut on each side of mango..so you are left with 2 halves and a center with a pit.
TAKE the 2 halves and score in a grid pattern..push up from bottom and you get a hedgehog squares effect..Slice the squares off into bowl

Peel around pit and slice the remaining mango meat
Add drained black beans..chopped cilantro...grated honeydew..grated onions.
Light dressing of vinegar..sugar..poppyseeds and olive oil

TOSS

Serve with blue corn chips and cinnamon sour cream on the side..

Now, to direct my response to the question in consideration. Intelligence is not a factor in domination and submission. It is however a desirable trait in a submissive and a dominant. Good conversation does not involve a whip; it requires a mind. There's only so much you can beat the snots out of someone before it loses it's savor.

In the case of the OP though, how intelligent can either of them be if the responses have been so churlish? I say they deserve one another. I've never been intimidated by someone with a higher intellect than me nor do I feel inferior to them. Rather, I view it as an opportunity to broaden my horizons and knowledge. So, OP, if you feel that way? I'd say you've empowered the submissive over yourself and the fault lies with you, not him. Either show him the door or get a set of brass balls.
