He thinks i am surrounded to much by vanilla and i need to surround myself more with true subs and things pertaining to the M/s lifestyle. Women who know their place and know what it means to serve a Master or Dom.

To tell you very truthfully the words "Women who know their place" just rub me wrong.  Kinda reminds me of the old saying of keeping a woman barefoot and pregnant or the one about a woman's place being in the home.  These are generalized comments that do not fit all women although the original writer most likely believed the comments did refer to all women.

greetings to all,

I, for one, firmly believe in the whole "barefoot and pregnant" thing.  That, as my Master's slave, is my place.  I am happy there, and happy being "under the thumb" of my Master.  I get offended when people suggest that to be "normal" you *must* want a say within your relationship.  I sure don't.

I am not damaged, or "defective" or weak for wanting to live the way I do.

I am strong, I am empowered, and I am happier than I've ever been.

well wishes,

Wonderful!! The barefoot and pregnant saying fits YOUR way of life.

What I was attempting to point out is that every person and relationship is different.  There are no universal truths that ALL subs are this or ALL subs do that.  In other words, "Women who know their place" can be all sorts and kinds of submissives with varying attitudes as has been pointed out in other posts.
