NewMaster79 -> The Worst Disease a Master Could Have... (8/3/2009 4:35:37 PM)

There are many embarrassing diseases out there when it comes to sex.  However, there's one that's only embarrassing if you're a master... or trying to become one.  Essential tremors.  It's an idopathic disease that strikes seemingly at random.  It's not contagious, and it's not deadly, but it can be pretty darn embarrassing.  You see, essential tremors affect the nervous system in such a way that they cause the entire body (and voice) to shake.  Unlike Parkinsons Disease, where the disorder causes a person to 'shake' at a low frequency and high amplitude, essential tremors causes a person to seemingly shiver.  This uncontrollable shivering gets worse with caffeine, or when posturing (doing anything other than sitting, standing, or lying flat), or when nervous or excited.  You can imagine how frustrating it can be for a young Dom to tell his sub, "b-b-b-bend over" in a voice that sounds like a nervous Bobby Brady.  You can also imagine his frustration when he tries to glide his slow, firm hand across his slave's body, but she thinks he's rubbing a vibrator across her back.  I know there are far worse diseases out there, but I hope to see this one wiped-out in my lifetime.  Just once I want to present myself to a woman and exude confidence, calmness, and control.  In the meantime, I will continue to look like I just saw the Boogieman, and am about to pee my pants.  [:D]  Take care!

Well then you need to dominate her heart before dominating her body. You will feel more comfortable with her afterwards, which also means you will worry less about it. And you know when you worry less, you reduce the chance of starting it. So perhaps you should get out of this circle. Instead of thinking a woman will love you when you are in control of this disease, try finding yourself a woman who will love you for who you are, and then fight this condition with taking her support.

Best Luck
Hermes

You are aware that there are medical treatments that can help with the symptoms of your condition?

I know it is embarrassing... but if you can find someone who treasures you for you some of the nervous trigger stuff will abate.

I wish you well.

I have had first hand experience with essential tremors when my father was alive. There are things You can do to reduce the episodes and I'm sure Your physician has told You about them. Reduce or eliminate Your caffeine intake, reduce or eliminate alcohol usage, exercises like swimming, jogging, etc. can reduce stress that triggers the episodes. I do know that certain positioning of muscles can also precipitate an episode and avoiding those positions can also reduce the frequency.

It is often said that one cannot control another unless they can first control themselves...while essential tremors cannot be totally controlled by You, You can exert some control over the intensity and frequency of the episodes by not allowing Your affliction to become WHO You are. Stress triggers episodes and stress is triggered by the embarrassment You obviously feel when in social situations, particularly D/s situations.

I suggested to my father that he incorporate personal mantras when he felt an episode coming on, or when he knew he'd be in situations that would precipitate an episodes. He found that not only did a mantra reduce his stress, but it gave him a sense of confidence that he could overcome the episode or reduce it's intensity. You may want to try such a mantra.

Simply because You have the courage to discuss this affliction openly I feel Your inner strength will enable You to reduce the effects of the disease and help You overcome the distress You feel from it. Any submissive should be very proud to kneel before You because there many types of strength and Your's is rare and refreshing and most certainly does not diminish Your level of Dominance...in fact it heightens it.

Dominance is not about the physical as much as it is about the mental...capture a submissive's mind and heart with Your mind and heart; the rest will follow.

Respectfully,
vixen

Worse than herpes or aids?

Come on now.

Propranolol ER time release.

Or vodka. (yep, vodka)

And skip the acupuncture play.

Why tempt fate?

Live long and prosper.

I have played with disbaled Doms before. they are medical conditions.. nothing more. Find someone that accepts you for you.. and sees the condition as just a condition. I for one might enjoy in someone with temors at the right time..lol.
If the person judges you as less for a condition... then they are not worth knowing.
I myself have fibromyalgia which makes playing at times extremely painful.. and causes me confue.sion and makes following orders difficult at times. But that is something the people i play with, or future owners have to understand and accept.. it is part of me.. and part of the package.

The worst disease a Master could have is death. Anything less can be dealt with.

But death isn't a disease.  It's a symptom. [;)]

Good morning!
Oh things can be worse darling. :: smiles:: Like Master has diabetes (and is very stubborn about it) and ED. I am sure it frustrates him to no end not to be able to make love. Kinda like mental torture for him. I am going thru perimenopause and am so lucky that at this point a horn isn't growing out of some part of my body. Weird things happening all over! Bums me out tons cause I cannot do anything either unless I really prepare myself and relax and stuff beforehand. If I need to, Master will let me take a break and check to make sure anything doesn't hurt or need attending to. It takes a different type of person to see thru physical and mental things like this. Some people just cannot handle it and actually make the other person feel worse about the condition. or self conscious I should say. But when you find someone who is going to take care of you, going to let you go at the pace you need, AND dare I say it?...love you for it-You will never let them go. Good luck!
Thank you Daddy for taking care of me and letting me take care of you.
Love,
Zechriel [sm=couple.gif]

Hi New Master
I can understand your worry with first impressions and all that but I think so long as your clear from the beginning and don't try to mask your condition, then you will end up with someone that can embrace all of you and not just the Dominant in you.
