Phoenixpower -> RE: What is your cat doing? (4/21/2011 2:34:04 AM)

Summer is irritated and searching for Urmel...poor her...Urmel is currently losing his balls at the vet...he was somewhat reluctant to leave his box, so I removed the top of it to get him out [:)]

I am looking forward to pick him up later...he will also be microchipped then [:)]

They are upstairs, staring out the open windows, supervising the world.

Amos is hiding from Cashie atop the desk, Cashie is stalking her.

ok, he's not really my cat, just a stray i feed and who sleeps here now and then, but right now he is out back screwing the brains out of the neighbour's cat.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is your cat doing? (4/21/2011 8:19:40 AM)

you should have him fixed.  The feral cat population is bad enough as it is, and if he has adopted you enough to sleep at your place, you are in a prime position to get that done.

That is what they do.

I had to move a table near the window-  so that cat could gawk at the birds.

apparently you have a problem with cats living in their natural undomesticated state. i don't.

Stray cats have a much shorter life expectancy than cats who live indoors and have proper human care. I agree with Greedy, proper human care means fixed.

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: What is your cat doing? (4/21/2011 9:48:44 AM)

Only cats really know how to chillaxe properly.

Spooky (big fat white one) is napping, but keeping  an eye out in case I open the windows, it should get warm enough here today to do that.

Trilby (lil black nervy one) is sitting at my feet, looking up expectantly as I eat my lunch, convinced cats really do eat Vietnamese chicken curry.

When I see potentially many kitten being born fending for themselves and that circle likely to continue with inbreeding if nobody intervenes...then I do believe GT has a valid point. I have here one cat where I am quite sure he is homeless and I did allow him to have sex with my cat which is not neutered yet as I planned to let her have one more litter, which I would have kept. Now, that litter got lost too early so it didnt pan out but I still try to establish for sure that he is homeless and once I am certain enough and am back in work I make sure he is getting fixed as I neither want for him nor for his potential offspring to be responsible to have a life as a feral cat. I don't speak up when someone has own cats and decide to have litter with that cat and has homes for them or is able to keep them but I don't consider it to be a great move to contribute to the feral cat population when it is preventable. IMO its just cruel to let the cats run into such a future. Just my 2 cent.

Not at all...he just continues his "business" (harassing mum) as usual [>:]

At home when my boys got fixed they were wobbly on their feet and took a bit of a slower day but he, not at all....just continuing his harassment as if he is knowing that his fertility will soon stop [>:] I really feel sorry for his mum and hope that this awful behaviour finds soon an end [&o]

The law in this household is see it and claim it. I got a new yoga pillow to put under my knees for certain positions. Misty has decided this makes a dandy cushion to sleep on during the day. However, Angel is now sharing possession. I saw her sitting on it today when Misty was out of the room.

In my house, Mystic, we call it "Finder's Keepers, Losers are outta luck!"

Good way to put it s2s. Misty better not leave the yoga pillow unattended or it may not be "hers" for much longer. Angel looked like she enjoyed sitting on it very much!

Yeah...you should see the kittehs fight over the one pillow I use when I'm laying on the futon when I can't sleep.  I bring it out because I use it to prop my leg up, and if I get up, I come back to find at least 2 of the beasties trying to curl up on it.  Not to mention the warm spot on the bed!  They can be all out of sight, but when I get up, there they are!

Kana -> RE: What is your cat doing? (4/22/2011 5:39:25 AM)

Big T and Little Anchovy are having a steel cage death match as we speak.
