Moki has been trying tooth and nail to get at the bumblebees that buzz around my balcony all day and has just finally settled down for the night. Hopefully she won't wake me up at two in the morning to play ladybug tomorrow morning!

Yep, Mystic, in my house that's the game of Finder's Keepers, Losers are outta luck! Unless it's KB and he really wants whatever spot that any of his brothers or sissy are already occupying.....then he will jump on them and they will give up and leave him to it. No one's ever really stood up to him when he gets that way, mainly because he's so rough. He grew up fighting with his dog, so he's got some strength behind him. And those two NEVER played nice!

Angel can be pretty rough, too. When I adopted her and took her to the vet for her first check-up, he said that despite her sweet demeanor, she had led a very hard life, had been in many fights with other animals, and had lots scars under her fur. I think Misty knows that not only is Angel bigger, but she has a "street-fighting" background and is not one to mess with. Angel can be very mean to my neighbor's outdoor cats. She's usually nice to Misty (except for wanting to chase her from time to time, which irritates Misty), but Misty knows she wouldn't come out the winner if she were to push anything with her. So it looks like Angel gets to sit on Misty's yoga pillow whenever it suits her :).

I get to see Binx tomorrow. She is Lizard's cat, but when I come in, she decides that I am her human bitch and Bo is her feeder. So...I have to be the person that she will sleep with. Tough titty, Bo...

I bought da Boyz some puff balls with catnip & they've worn themsleves out chasing them all over the apt. Because I have tile floors in here, it's lots of fun to chase stuff! Last night, I went to bed with just Sir Hemingway. Soon Professor Orange came up & leaned into me to sleep too. When I turned over to turn off the light, I discovered that the Professor was also lying on Hemi. LOL

I think Angel may be bumming food from yet another neighbor. I walked out to get the mail and saw her at their door step eating out of a dish on the ground. To my knowledge, they don't have any outside pets, so she has probably conned them into feeding her leftovers, just like she has the neighbor on the other side. What a little con artist!

Somewhere outside. Lizard is pet sitting a couple of dogs and they ran her off. I miss her already...

Angel is so funny. She will spend a few hours outside, then come in to eat and use the litterbox, then ask to go out again. Is she so spoiled that she can't dig a hole outside to do her business and waits for the convenience of the litter box, LOL?

Binx was gone for about 2 or 3 days. She is back and really 'hungry'. She has Little Bit to hide under my chair.

Sitting on the dining room floor, about two feet apart, staring at each other. They will do this by the hour. I'm glad they find each other so fascinating, LOL.

Curry and Spicy are with me in my bed and summer is lieing in the shelf next to the bed....Curry always amazes me with his behaviour as he is a cat which behaves a la "I" am your favourite cat and I want you for me alone....

Richard has been a cutey today. He stole the potholders from the kitchen and left them in my bedroom, which is a much better gift than a dead mouse.[&:]
