Cashie is now wearing the hot pink collar.. he managed to snap it off Amos' neck so it's HIS turn.. since his black one is still MIA (and if he gets out again, I want a collar on him to let folks know he HAS a home.. Amos is too skittesh to try to go outside..)

Lily, my cat that passed away earlier this year, was notorious for sending non-sensical IM's to my friends if I left an IM window open. As soon as I left the room for any reason (even for a minute), she'd jump up and run across the keyboard hitting random keys. Then, as she jumped down, she would often hit the "enter" key and send the message.

Maggie, my current cat, once changed the outgoing message on my answering machine to a bunch of cat talk. I was tempted to leave it and confuse people who heard it. Zeph

It really did! It sounded like she was talking rather than random cat speak. I'm sad that I had to change it but there are people who really need to get in touch with me so the message had to be clear.

LOL

Pookie has been killing bags today. A paper shopping bag & a heavy plastic one. I let him outside for awhile to burn off some energy & when he came back inside, he killed the bags all over again. I had planned to use those bags. sigh He hasn't stopped for about 2 hours now. I have no idea what's gotten into him. Neither of them ever have this kind of energy. Booga is sleeping through it on their chair bed.

Linnea.. weather change? I know mine have been absolute demons the past couple of days (since the temps suddenly dropped)

Pookie is now attacking the walls. And snarling. It must be the weather change. But it's a gorgeous fall day out there, coolish but sunny. It's very weird seeing him like this. I kind of like it, because they're usually such lumps. Of course, Booga is still being a lump. It's just the one that has it.

well mystic has been just miss walk around today and lazy not really running a whole lot and such but then again i think thats because blondie has been napping and not chasing her as much today. i really need the peace and quiet because my brain wont function and i have one week of classes left and its just not looking good on my grades this time around because of the morning sickness and such. i hate when i cant focus and all i can do is be a bump on a log and hang out here and on my FB.

No, Linnea, they never showed up. I'm guessing (hoping) that someone either caught them and took them to Animal Control, or took them in themselves. I haven't found any signs of a body anywhere, and since I'd been handling them, they would be used to being picked up. I kick myself about ahundred times a day for not bringing them in sooner. But the back bedroom was an all day cleaning, sorting, throwing away and keeping thing, and there was too much stuff they could have gotten into or hurt by falling stuff, so I had to wait til my day off. I didn't thin kthe neighbors would appreciate me banging around up here at 2 am.....). The 3 boys went outside earlier, Sugar came out with them. She got her feelins' hurt by Smooch and Boo, they both hissed and swatted her, but KB just flopped down on the ground and let her lick him all over. She got it out of her system and left them be, but the look on her face when the 2 boys hissed was priceless.....she really got her feelings hurt! Poor little thing just wants a kitten of her own. Once Little Bit is a little bigger, then he;ll go live in his new home w/Sugar. For now, everyone is sleeping....storing energy up for later whn I want to go to sleep! [>:]

s2s isnt that how it normally is. now that daddy is home both our kids are playing and being brats. Mystic and blondie are the type to rest all day and play all night.

Angelina is once again stretched out in front of the front hall closet - listening for mousie noises. To explain this - my other half is a science teacher at a high school, in his classroom has has a salamander and a ball python snake. The pet store near his school was shut down for having a drug operation in the back room, so hubby now has to buy the mice in town and keep them overnight. My little girl thinks the mousie is very cute, and I have to agree. Last week, when mousie #1 was here, she chased the cat away from the closet, put on her tall pointy princess hat, threw a barbie doll over her shoulder, and proceeded to march back and forth in front of the door to keep the cat away. I'm not sure who was cuter - the kid or the cat!
