had to take him to the vet. he ended up having a paralysis tick, but at his age, he wouldn't have recovered well if at all. he slipped away easily, and left me a wet parting gift on my shirt, the wee beastie.

going to bed early. been a while i haven't had the beastie to curl up to me or to snore by my side.

He sounds like a very special kitty and I know there will be lots of things you miss.

To this day, I still miss Lily. I realized I was actually singing in the house the other day, and she was not there to come over and complain about it (she hated my singing voice--the other kitties don't seem to mind it). She was also the only kitty who would play fetch.

It's one of those cold and dreary days here and Misty is doing what's expected, napping. Angel, however, seems to have loads of energy and is galloping around the house like a fool.

i have many good memories of puss.
i was making coffee this morning and thought of few days before pucci died.
i had made frothy milk for coffee. yummy. put it on the table here to fetch something, came back, a guilty looking pucci looked up from my cup, and 2/3 of the froth was missing!!!!!
hard to growl when  you're snickering

Angel, I'm sorry to hear about your furbaby, hun. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} from me and mine.

I know what you mean about the waking up part.....since I first got him, KB has always pestered me in bed......"Wake up, mom...I'm hungry/bored/hungry/bored/hungry/bored!!!!" And he's saved my ass from being late to work quite a few times. He's getting up there in years, and when it's his time, I have no idea how I'll sleep thru the first night. He's taken to sleeping on my pillows right above my head, and when he's there, I sleep better.

Claire is a kitten my daughter brought home. She is aprox. 6 months old. She really dislikes NOT being the center of attention and often feels the need to compete with my computer for attention.[:D]
