Angel's boyfriend was waiting for her on the front porch today, hoping she'd go outside, but she didn't want to (though Lily wishes she'd go outside and stay outside--permanently). Seems like Angel's wanting to spend more and more time indoors.

Well, it certainly hasn't taken the new cat Angel long to learn some of the bad behaviors of the household. She is now sleeping atop the fresh laundry just like Lily likes to do.

I have a precious kitteh that is fighting for her life right now. Her name is Isis, she and her siblings were rescue babies (I was able to save and find a good home for one of Isis' sisters, Abigail. The rest of the litter did not make it.), and Isis is fighting what we feared might be distemper because it displays similar symptoms, but fortunately this does not appear to be what ails her. This afternoon she began trying to take solid food on her own, and is continuing to show improvement. Isis is an adored four-month-old bundle of smartness and purr. Please think happy thoughts for her, if you would be so kind..

He's sitting in his Lincoln rocker watching a David Attenborough video that has Birds of Paradise fluttering fascinatingly on the television screen, and occasionally nibbling at his potato salad.

Angel just jumped down from atop the dryer, where she had been lying on top some folded towels I hadn't put away yet. Lily is here, begging for attention. Not sure what Misty is up to.

Right now, Squeaks is in the way of the keyboard shelf, so I'm typing one handed while holding on to said keyboard....KB is walking around on the desk getting in the way of the monitor, Boo is chasing a cardboard roll around, and I have no idea what wild hair Smooch has, but he's skating around on the hardwood floors.....

Because he can, no doubt :) Angel got tired of flipping around the catnip-filled mouse, asked to be let outside, then asked to come back in 10 minutes later. Lily is sleeping under the desk. Angel is chowing down. I think she eats as much as the other two combined. Lily is looking on, waiting for Angel to finish so she can get something to eat. Misty is waiting for me to come to bed.

Angel tried to get Lily to play with her and ended up getting hissed at. Lily wants to know why I let that twit in the house. Misty is busy grooming herself.

Now that their bellies are full, Boo is chasing his milk ring around, Squeaks is watching him slide into the wall, KB just chased his milk ring under the computer desk and fished it out, and Smooch is prolly sttling down for yet another nap!

Angel asked to come in, but changed her mind when the grumpy Lily woke up from her nap and glared at her. Misty is kicking back on the comforter in my bedroom.

Merlin moved to his forever home today and I was just informed that he spat on their bullterrier....leaving that dog now a bit frightened of him...bless him...[:)]

I brought out a set of leather floggers to practice my 6-pt. Florentine flogging this weekend, and Lily is sitting happily atop of them. Misty and Angel are snoozing.
