Heard a noise in the kitchen and went to check what it was. Misty had jumped up on the counter and was licking some dirty dishes in the sink. Yuk!!! Guess she is trying to teach me to be a better housekeeper and to get those dishes in the dishwasher faster, not leave them in the sink.

I just caught KB doing the same thing with the measuring cup that I nuked the butter in for my dump cake....he had his little face pushed down into it. I let him lick because I'm hoping it'll help with his hairballs.

curry just found another feature of dominance who did not give him the way he wanted [:)] He just tried to jump up the window to get outside but did not realise he has to crawl underneath the curtain nets at first before jumping up there...so he did not get anywhere as those curtain nets did not let him pass [:D] So mister grumpy had to jump down again, looking very annoyed [:)]

Today was Misty and Angel's lucky day. I went to make cilantro lime salmon and realized I had a few more ounces of salmon than the recipe called for. I cooked their portion without the cilantro and lime, and they were both hand-fed tidbits of salmon. There is even enough for a small treat for tomorrow.

Doom Cat has reinvented Bowling to his own designs. He is the bowling ball, and the two liter bottles of Mnt. Dew on the shelf are the pens. i think the louder you can knock over the pens, the better your score. Getting a bottle to spew open and spray its caffeinated goodness all over the kitchen seems to be a goal in his game... not exactly sure on all the rules, Doom Cat won't tell me.

Feline, this is the very reason I keep my bottles on the floor......even then, I've been almost killed in the middle of the night by tripping over a bottle on it's side. But at least I don't have diet pepsi spraying everywhere! What a mess!!!!!

The spoiled things just finished off the rest of their sockeye salmon treat. Angel asked to go back outside and Misty is sitting on the dining room floor, looking like she is trying to decide what to do next.

No Feline, no q-tip tricks yet, however, Squaks has decided that ALL foil bags MUST have "tweets" inside, so she's opening them all...so far, she's opened two bags of croutons and one bag of instant spanish rice. The croutons she tasted, the rice, she just spread all over the place. Smooch has opened the top linen closet door to sleep on the towels inside, which wouldn't be a problem, except that he pushes it open wider, and I've walked into it twice in the dark. Now I walk out with my arms in front of me to avoid "THUNK!" in the forehead. Talk about a wake up call! I swear, they put their little heads together to devise these little traps and tricks once a week.....sorta like a committee meeting or something! One more step towards world domination!

Misty just got through shreiking like a banshee because she was looking out the window and saw another cat in her yard. It's amazing that sounds like that can come from a 5-lb. cat. I'm just glad she didn't do it at 3 A.M., which she has been known to do. Angel is snoozing on the back of the armchair after spending an exhausing day outside doing who knows what. It's too cold for the lizards to be out, so she was doing something other than killing them.

She is hiding underneath my bed as a deliveryman came to my front door then a neighbor was out in the hallway talking to me and that was too much for her..she is such a fraidy cat!

I'm getting the "guilt face" from Boo.....I left windows open, and a storm came thru, complete with wind....the bedroom door shut, and he got caught inside. I'm sure he went to sleep in the laundry when the storm finally passed, but he's going to play it for all it's worth. The biggest shame was that there isn't a feeder in there, so he had to "starve" til I got home. It wasn't a big storm....not a lot of thunder, just alot of rain. The rest of the herd is hanging out, bellies full.

Angel walked with me to the mailbox today, and on the way noticed that one of my neighbors has part of his lawn dug up. Naturally, she had to go roll in the reddish brown dirt. Now she has a beige cast to her, intead of being pure white.

OMG, poor Boo [&:] Pepper just rescued me from a silly spider who had decided to sit in hip level in my bathroom [:)][:)] She knows that when I call her she gets something special, such as a delicious treat, sometimes such treats are alive and sometimes not.... now ok, today she didn't quite bother to listen when I called her but she still did her job when I placed her in front of that spider [:)]
