The first thing that comes to mind is ginger. Store it in a sealed plastic bag for a few days after getting it home from the store, then peel and slice. I have had subs that feel it immediately and it also acts as an aphrodisiac, and I've had subs that didn't feel it until an hour or two later when trying to pee, and then it lasted a day. Just a nice little reminder in my opinion.
Another would be crushed up Altoids and other breath mints, Alka Seltzer, pop rocks...that's about it for food stuffs. Other things that I've made myself...I wouldn't suggest to anyone simply because I don't have the ability to properly describe them.
