I was working at the computer and only heard a small snippet that someone in the Obama adminustration is asking that the deficit limit be raised. Is this correct? Anyone have a link?

I'm actually OK with that until liquidity returns--IF it's then reigned in.

That's always been the trouble--supply side or demand side, spending or tax cuts, everybody LOVES expansionary policy, but has no stomach for the subsequently needed contractionary policies--so they just never get done, and our financial standing continues to flounder.
