I think the thread starter was smart to delete this profile. She was asking for help in her own way, but because she didn't ask in the prescribed way for this forum (which involves plenty of ritualistic butt kissing and giving attention to the regulars and telling them how kewl and wise they are) she was set upon, like a hare in a circle of wolves. Harried, provoked, humiliated, simply because she wasn't as sly about doing the old soft-shoe suckup as some new posters are. Her profile is now a dead end, thanks to certain sweethearts who so generously shared their bile with her. She'd never be able to ask a serious question again in this forum without being instantly treated with rudeness and derision.

The Usual (and very tired) Disclaimer: I don't know the thread starter. I don't know the regulars, nor do I want to know most of them, given what I see in threads like this (shudder). I do find group attacks such as this (points vagely at the entire thread) vulgar and disgusting and I will speak up about them upon occasion (like those certain times where if I don't do so I'll probably vomit in self-disgust). You may now return to your regularly scheduled snarktoadiness. Fresh toad food will be layed out in the next hour or so, I imagine.

Actually, her post was somewhat off-putting with the attitude that came through and the wording talking about there not being TRUE dominants that no one is sincere, etc.  Has nothing to do with kissing the regulars' asses at all. Attitude comes through and hers came through negative.

[sm=agree.gif]   A little common courtesy goes a long way, asking things in a negative, demanding tone really does no one any good. Just because Lumus isn't on CM doesn't make Him any less real. Besides, honey always catches the flies better than vinegar......(not that Weal and Twue dominants are flies!)

As probably any pilot can tell you, the approach is critical to the landing. Come in the wrong way and you won't make the landing. I wish the OP luck and hope that she learned something from her brief foray onto the boards. [sm=dunno.gif]

hey everyone. i  am new here well actually i had an account here a year or so ago but wasn't very active. i am back! while i am very new here and pretty new to pursuing this as a lifstyle, i do enjoy reading your post. thanks for sharing! i am really looking forward to getting to know some of you.  as with any adult site i hope that some just skip right over me :)

Okay this did crack me up.

Probably b/c I'm old enough to sing along.

I've been here on CM a relatively short time, and have met some fantastic doms. So far none of them are the perfect match for me, but there are great unattached doms out there looking.

Of course I've had to filter though a lot of less than marvelous males....it's all part of the process. I think the important thing is to enjoy were you are, where ever that is . . .

Being single, I rather agreed with her statement and felt some empathy toward her. Nothing about the post personally put me off. It was a little awkwardly worded (but there is nobody posting in this forum that cannot be accused of doing the same at one point or another) and also doing dual time as a second personal ad, but it wasn't a personal attack on anybody that I could see.

To me, there is very little difference between saying someone is copping an "Attitude" or is "offputting" and saying "you didn't kiss my butt enough new poster!" To me the former is mostly a more socially acceptable and less blunt way of saying the latter.

If you are still reading this, OP, then these are my words to you.

Its not magic sauce, my first owner did show up on my very first foray into the hawaiian scene, the man I serve now took 3 years.

And as a dominant, I have explored many submissives, and slaves, and what I have learned is that the right person shows up at the the right time, there is no rushing it,.

There is a big difference for me in it. As a long time member and poster here of nearly 5 years, I expect no one to kiss my ass new or not. Her post came across very negative and negativity is very off putting to me. Simple as that. Has nothing to do with ass kissing or lack thereof.
