Lets discuss spankings some. I believe spankings are not a sexual act really, it is meant to be a part of foreplay, just as it goes for nipple clamps, waxings, vibes, dildos or any other implement. Am I wrong here?

And I like to work up to the impliments, by way of bare hands, to flogger, to crop then belt etc. anyone else feel this way?

I think it is all fore play. Even doing the vacuuming and dishes if done right is foreplay. It becomes a definition of sex thing.

For spanking I do prefer "warming up" activities before the big guns come out.

Well, if you're going to call it foreplay, then I would consider it sexual. Isn't foreplay a sexual act? I think it depends on when and for what reason you're doing it. It can be considered play or punishment. That's just my opinion however. :)

BTW, I commend you as well DomCT. I think it's very honorable of you to come back the "proper" way.

I don't consider spanking as a sexual act either. I don't think anyone does, although I have known a couple of slaves that might disagree. Lol. Spanking is a great form of foreplay though. Gets the juices flowing. [:D]

I've been spanking for years. In fact, spanking was the first physical act I committed which was BDSM oriented. I love it because it's so natural and you don't need any toys other than your own 2 hands. I don't know that I would limit it only to foreplay because I have spanked without sex following and I've spanked with sex following. I just see it as something to increase the connection between and a Master and his own. I've also used it as a form of discipline and find it works wonders especially if the intent is to discipline and the one receiving it knows this. I've used it sensually and find it's a wonderful prelude to hot sex.

The spanking as foreplay is an intriguing thought. A while back my Master bred me for the first time. After wards, he took his belt out of his pants and used it on me. The reaction i felt toward that was startling. Watching Him take that belt in his hands frightened me. But i know better than to bolt from him. Interesting - wonder if this should include some chat about "Good" and "bad" spankings...There is a difference between the two.
For sure if the spanking was to correct behavior and the sub/slave swore they would never offend in that way again then if the mood turned to sex.... hmmmm.....well, that would be ok. heh

If Your sub/slave enjoys spanking then it's not really punishment, is it? -Unless they are being spanked with something they DO NOT like, big difference between being spanked by one's hands than a belt, paddle, etc.
