Is the Pill now legal in Ireland? I know divorce finally came through a few years ago, but can women finally access the Pill and abortion? These are the issues that matter.

Ah, the greatness of Great Britain, where the IRA and the Prods can whack each other with impunity, but can't say a bad thing about God...Priceless

Erm, Great Britain or rather the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a separate nation from the Republic of Ireland and has been ever since 1916.

The Republic of Ireland is that smaller island to the left (the one closer to the United States) and the bigger one to the right (closer to France) is Great Britain.

Your ignorance is stunning. Nothing new there though Rob, Ireland sets its own laws.

I never thought I'd feel sorry for subrob, but I do   . Perhaps he'd benefit from a map? http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=ireland&gbv=2&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=il&start=0

See the top right hand corner on the map, subrob? That's Northern Ireland (occuped by Britain). The rest is the Irish Republic (completely independent from British rule). Grow up, and learn your history and geography. For crying out loud  .

Not editing my words no more to "Americanise" ... translations will be added at whim or on request for the forseeable ... like it or bleedin' lump it.

Pissed translates as "under the influence" (particularly of alcohol)

We talking IRA, Provisional IRA, United Irishmen, anon? which bunch (be careful because I'm not drawing a sectarian example) are you claiming you can't say a bad word about "God" before?

The ice melts presently under your feet.

It's been on the cards for ages, not sure how it is going to work in reality considering what the main topic for comedy is in Ireland.

I would have moved to Ireland years ago if it weren't religious. What a way to ruin a beautiful country...
