iwillserveu -> Define "sex" (3/14/2004 7:08:51 AM)

For me sex is everything from foreplay to orgasm. From ear nibbling to "Oh, My God!"

Submission itself is foreplay. (Foreplay is a subset of sex.) If Mistress orders me to wax the floor it is not a chore. In my mind it is like when Marcy on Married with Children described mundane things as fraught with sexual energy. ("First you strip the wax and stare longingly at the naked floor...[:D])

Heck, done right automotive maintenance is sex. (You crawl under the car and place a drain pan for the fluids that will gush out...[:D])

It seems ''sex'' is generally regarded/accepted as gender definition.

Qualifying the term ''sex'' any way (ie. sexual, sexy, sexist, sex act, sexuality, etc) takes it away from 'gender definition' context and infers 'sex related', or a sexual context/nature.

On most any form/application (paperwork), sex is defined as M or F, or 'will explain'... only a few occasionally reply Yes/No for ''sex''... those applicants get fewer interviews.

Urban folklore and various lifestyles define many words in their own particular contexts... most using an unqualified base term in a qualified manner (ie. I wanna 'sex' you up, I want your 'sex', Let's have 'sex', 'sex', drugs & rock-n-roll, etc).

In terms of context, the base term has been repeatedly raped/redefined.

If a female is virginal, it is widely accepted she has not had 'sex'... but in truth she may be very sexually active and engage in many forms of sexual activities... but by choice or reason not experienced vaginal sex as of yet... however still regarded as a 'virgin stereotype' (innocent in 'sex' related matters).

It would appear 'sex' is used more out of context than actually used in context, or a qualified form of expression... it has become 'slang' in use, more akin to an acronym (ie. sex = sexual acts, or acts of a sexual nature).

By true definition (a gender defining term of 'discernment', lol), there is total absence of sexual connotations or overtones... but in the hands and minds of people, it is 'judged' as sexual activity of some sort... by virtue of letters 's', 'e' and 'x' being present (but what about sextant? You sure do have a 'sexy' sextant?).

'Discernments' and/or 'Judgments' cast qualifications on the base term ''sex'', and drive it from it's basic form into a form of slang, or 'wordplay' used out of true context... buzz word!

I define my sex as male (not as yes/no/maybe/almost, fantastic/lousy, couldn't be better/could be better, virginal/nonvirginal, BDSM/vanilla, etc... all qualified contexts of sexual nature... applicable across genders).

Sex for me is even a look across a room and my thoughts about what will happen to my lovely victim later that night...once we're home and alone together....and naked...and....may I have another glass of Chardonnay, please?

Sinergy -> RE: Define "sex" (5/3/2004 7:34:53 PM)

Greetings,

I personally think sex is anything the participants want it to be.

Bill Clinton did not have sex with THAT woman, but I suspect she felt as she gave him
fellatio that there was some sex going on.

As Dorothy Parker once wrote "What two people do in the bedroom is nobodies business, as long as they dont do it in the road and frighten the horses."

GoddessMarissa -> RE: Define "sex" (5/4/2004 3:01:23 AM)

I agree with MistressKiss and Sinergy, sex can be anything from a glance across the room to ohhhing and ahhhing. I myself think sex is defined from foreplay to orgasmic. I think sex has to do with anything sexual between two people even if its not intercourse.
