EG.. thanks for the links.. that looks great!!

LadyRR..

I hope you have a blast.. I've always wanted to camp on the beach, but finding a place that ALLOWS it has been difficult (at least at ocean beaches....).

Greedy I suggested that a bunch of us go camping at Fort Desoto. It is the beach and they have some great camp sites.

I have an 12 man tent even. With a working bathroom.

I would love to get something set up.

Gwyn, my dearling seeeeeeester of Thunder.... ya know dang good and well that you'll always be welcome to set up next to me at GW lol.  You ARE aware that the Thunder Encampment at the GW site is getting it's own Permanent Flushies and Hot Shower starting in either '10 or '11, right?  Family got the go ahead from the site to start building just prior to the close of GW this year, and they're hoping to have the stuff started (and even possibly at least one of the shower stalls working) before GW in '10!  (As it is, I've got Magnus and a few others from Kazi out in your area bugging me to come out to Trimaris for a visit either between now and GW 19, or sometime next summer after GW.)

Well, if you're looking to impress your experienced beach camping friends, then bring a guitar and or a small drum for Coom By Ya.

Actually one of the upcoming camping trips planned, does involve members bringing their drums, guitars and other musical instrutments. Hopefully Coom By Ya, isn't on the singing program.

If you're camping on the beach the sand may not give you purchase for your tent stakes. Do a google search for "sand anchors" and you should find some easy and cheap ways to solve the problem.

Uncle Nasty

Thanks for the info. I did a search and Amazon had some good prices for anchors. Though I might just try picking some up at one of the local discount stores.
