Hi all -

Been off-and-on interested in all this since around 16ish; I did some research and minor networking when I turned legal, but it never progressed anywhere or to anything beyond that (although I did meet some cool, very friendly internet people back then).

Well, I'm 21 now and the curiosity has reared its head again, and I hope to find out what's really inside of me: is this scene something I want or am I just another of the numerous guys who simply likes a little kink?

Either way I'm sure it will be a fun exploration and I'm certain there will be interesting and fun people to meet along the way. With luck I will be able to acquaint myself with as many facets here as possible. My profile currently lists me as a switch, although I do think I tend more towards submissive. Then again, there are times when a dominant mood does strike me and I have to say.... it feels good! ~ This is all just from my own personal life experiences and also sexual experience; I have never done anything that could really be classified as BDSM with another person despite it having held my interest for so long ~ But sub, switch, dom, or just some guy.... it doesn't concern me now because the joy is in the journey... and whatever I end up being, I'm sure that understanding what it means to be each will only help me be better in my role.

So there we are: Here's to hoping I get along well with all of you and maybe carve out a niche for myself!

P.S.... my name is kinda stupid, but I suppose I'll have to make a new account to change that, yeah?

How's it going? I have almost the exact same story as you it seems. My advice from my very limited experience here would be to hang around the chat rooms, it's the fastest way to meet people it seems. Other than that, nice comments to people you find interesting works too. I hope you find what you're looking for soon!

Thank you, everyone, for the welcomes!

This forum looks like it has a lot of great personalities on it too. Haha, also a lot of fun smileys but none quite right for what I wanted to put here: kind of like having satellite TV with 400 channels and still nothing on. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find use for some of the others later.
