shygirldesires -> Code d' Odalisque (2/24/2006 10:28:00 AM)

i was reading elsewhere on the Net and found this............

......thoughts?

Many couples play an informal game of sexual surrender in
which the woman says "Take me! I'm your slave! I'II do anything!"
Some couples formalize this game into a Master/slave
relationship. Code d' Odalisque is a new style of non-violent
consensual sex slave role play. "Code d' Ode" (as it is popularly
called) is a real-life game for female slaves and male
Slavekeepers, giving a new, contemporary form to the dedicated
sex slave or "odalisque".

We are careful to distinguish it from other styles of slavery. It is
not like the quasi-military "Old Guard" style (popular in the gay
scene) and it is not like the so-called Gorean style. Nor is it
about BDSM, Sado-masochism, torture and degradation. The
odalisque is a luxury pleasure slave, a sexual captive, kept for
sex.

The key idea in Code D' Odalisque is that an odalisque is a
specialized slave. She is not a domestic slave who works in the
house. She is not a labour slave. She is not a pain slave. She is
not a personal slave. She is a dedicated sex slave, kept naked
and barefoot, trained for one purpose - sex.

Code d' Odalisque is a code of rules and etiquette and training
for the contemporary female sex slave of the odalisque type. It
sets out the rights, duties and character of both Master and
slave.

The Code presents a civilized, urbane, genteel form of sex
slavery such as might be found in a sensuous, advanced
slavekeeping culture. It is adapted to both monogamous and
polyamorous relationships and the modern, uninhibited,
sexually adventurous player.

I'm curious to learn more about the rules and processes these people have.

It also seems fairly heterosexual.

Lots of submissives get off on being a sex toy and lots of doms get off on using human sex toys...makes sense that getting enough of them together would result in this.

I'd say it's just another drop in the "alt lifestyles" bucket, and seems a form of bottom/top roleplaying.

Guilty1974 -> RE: Code d' Odalisque (2/24/2006 10:57:34 AM)

Where did you find it? I'm quite curious why this should be only for for male dom-female slaves couples. Also, I find it rather unpleasant that bdsm and degradation are put in together like it's quite the same thing. Sounds like they kinda feel "better" than "us". Do you have a url?

Someone who is only "kept naked and barefoot, trained for one purpose - sex. "

Sounds very boring to me.

This is just and old thing, the names might off changed but this has been going on for many many years.

Its just a different name for concubines...

MrDiscipline44 -> RE: Code d' Odalisque (2/24/2006 3:14:11 PM)

I don't see much use in someone that is only used for one thing. Especially just for sex. Hell, if one wants sex, they just need to go to their local tavern and pick up the drunkest person there. Why bother with "training"? "Sex slaves" are about the most usless people I can imagine having around. Sorry if that sounds harsh but really, I see no point in them.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Code d' Odalisque (2/24/2006 3:18:10 PM)

Personally I find the fantasy of being chained to a table, open and ready to be used and fucked by any random person/people who happen to walk by pretty hot.

But only for the first two weeks.

EvilGeoff -> RE: Code d' Odalisque (2/24/2006 3:25:33 PM)

It's live-action sexual role-playing. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's not my thing for a relationship, but hey, if it floats their kinky play-time boat, rock on!

YIK,
- Geoff

Okay - then my question is - who does all the work if sex is the only thing required of the slave?

WildChild73 -> RE: Code d' Odalisque (2/24/2006 3:39:26 PM)

Imtempting is correct... Turkish harems of the Sultans had many slaves.. some were trained just as household slaves others went through years of training as only a pleasure slave. There only purpose in life was to give there master pleasure, not necessarily sex, just pleasure of all kinds..

 "...find it rather unpleasant that bdsm and degradation are put in together like it's quite the same thing."

I'm with you on this. I also find it interesting that they are at such pains to self-define as "nonviolent."  Let's be precise here.   By some progressive definitions, the very idea of a master and a slave is inherently "violent" as it implies power-over (I could pick this idea apart some more if anyone wants to).  What these people mean is that they don't engage in corporal sadomasochism.

Interesting. I like a couple of the ideas presented, and I find some of the terms and things they say rather interesting. Like, errr... "fuckpuppet" and "slavery is more civilized". Definately worth reading.

Although, I do find it interesting how people are always trying to put their idea into a set of rules and "codes" and say "this is better than.. " or allege to be "the true spirit of..." Mleh. Certain people like it, fine. From what I read, it does sound interesting, particularly since I'm not particularly attracted to the more "extreme" portions of BDSM (hate pain). So, I'm not going to start poking my nose in the air and start judging -like other people already have.

So, is there anyone here who is into Code d'Ode?

I cant believe the remarks here.

Look at the profiles on CM ~~  there are tons of Dom/mes who want ONLY a sex slave  and there are tons of s types who want ONLY to be sex slaves !!

How many poly homesteads have
a domestic slave or two
a sex slave or two
a pain slut or two
blah blah blah....................... tell me it aint so !

You mean, like those Code guys are judging others by associating BDSM with degradation?
