Yeah us, the populace, we are just sheep we are, we are here to create the wealth and provide the manpower so big business and governments can wade around the world doing what it wants to create yet more wealth. But when things go wrong, government policies in other countries upset that populace, what happens, we get it in the neck, the sheeple, we are the lambs to the slaughter as who do terrorists target, certainly not anything that has a chance of defending itself, but the undefended public minding their own business and getting on with their lives. When such atrocities happen, what does it do, nothing but give the big business and governments what they need to further their aims, create bogeymen and screw more money and manpower out of the sheeple and create yet more laws to control us.

So many people on here seem to be defending these powerful people who have suceeded in their education and created part of the sheeple to propel their agendas, are we sure, are you sure on what you spout is the truth, or is it a manufactured truth to make the wealthy wealthier and the powerful, more powerful. What do you get out of it when one power hungry wolf gets what they want on the backs of your support.

Why are we, the populace supporting these morons who trample the world and it's people in search of wealth and power, are we so blind.

here in blighty we're just too fecking polite for our own good and ive come to the conclusion that individually we have the right idea, its just that collectively we become idiots over night.

short memories and a sudden and bright new sparkly agenda and everyone goes baaah and trots into the slaughter house.

i despair!

What this OP refers to is the control of the bankers and corporatism and he is quite correct. They rule and they rule absolutely. It is part and parcel of why Obama is not really change. They have you and yes, most of society...right where they want you. Soon taking 2 and 3 jobs to do what...well to pay them of course.

He still has wall street running the dept. of treasury (through 8 admins. since 1980) made financial commitment to GM, AIG and the rest that the Govt. (taxpayers) and wants to give the fed of ALL places...even more power.

Every one of the last 7 and this 8th admin. since 1980 and Reagan, we see this coming and party affiliation makes no difference.

"Civiliants" that's a good one. Don't agree per se, but very original and relevant.

As to the OP,

I just don't get it. You ask what do you get by being part of an organized functioning society. You get plenty to eat, education, the ability to pursue art (aren't you a metal worker?), a functiong legal system, saftey, medical care, Libraries, free time to chat on the Internet, ect, ect.

Look at places where there is no functioning society or people really are treated as farm animals.

It ain't Britian.

What exactly is it you don't get but want?

I'd sure love to know where folks come up with the “ we being dominated by big business and government”. At least in your country and mine if we had the brains and drive we could be the big business...or run for public office...not a soul is stopping you.

When you get there as have I...you will find no club...no secret organization...in fact all you will find is more of a fight to keep what you have gained. Life is no better in the boardroom then the mudroom. People are people… good and bad… rich or poor.
