I wish there was an option to pay to get rid of those fucking video ads that are constantly freezing up my browser.

Couldn't you just temporarily disable the shockwave plug-in if you are going to spend any large period of time on the site?

If you use IE8 there is an option under the tools menu named 'manage add-ons'

If you select this then on the left pick 'toolbars and extensions', on the right there will be a list and something named 'shockwave flash object' will appear in that list. Selecting it will give you a button named 'Disable' at the bottom right. Thus picking this will obviously disable it.

Not sure about other browsers I don't use them because I'm not an elitist computing Nazi and the only time I used Firefox in the past the beige buttons made me feel old, like I was in need of a walking stick whose head was shaped like that of a Labrador and a pair of tartan slippers spewing horrendous beige fluff from between the foot and the tartan trim.

I'm sure a similar process will exist on all browsers.

I would not stay. In fact I has been away from CollarMe for nearly a year and only have recently returned due to some emails received by my girl. (Some were good emails, but many were not.)

When I answered the emails I decided to look at the message forums again. I enjoy seeing others' opinions and playing the games but not enough to pay.

I would let my girl keep her account though, because it is through her account that we keep in touch with several new friends, as well as look for other new friends in the area.

So in that viewpoint it is worth it. We have found our S.O.'s but keeping in touch with friends and finding new friends makes the site worth the price of one account, but not two.

Just curious

Those who say they won't stay, because there is no reason.

Why do you stay now.

Because I'm bored, I have a few friends here (which I would no doubt stay in contact with even if I left CM completely, since we're mostly in contact offsite as well) and this gives me something to do that I don't have to put any sort of thought or effort into when I want a break.  Which a few mind-numbingly inspid games on my computer also do - although this is easier to walk away from if dad yells for me in the middle of writing, as opposed to being in the middle of a game that will time out (which annoys me.)

dad is a good reason..lol
