You know you are in California when you see homeless people feeding their dogs before they eat.
You know you are in California when you overhear someone saying they called out sick because their chakras were out of line.
You know you are in California when you are at a party, talking to someone and they are looking over your shoulder to see if someone more important than you has come in.
You know you are in California when you cross the bridge to Oakland and realize those big contraptions look just like those things in that Star Wars movie and you realize they actually must have been the inspiration for George Lucas.
You know you are in California when you can get a slamming Fish Taco right next to a place where you can have Bulgogi.
