Status: offline 		What website are good to purchase inexpensive, quality corsets, leather outfits, BDSM toys and such? I have been on many, but none that have things that really stick out & catch my eye or they do & are soooo expensive. Any thoughts??? Thanks

Status: offline 		I don't believe you can get high quality and inexpensive both. Good quality supplies cost money and, the skill to make good items, takes time and experince and that's going to cost money as well.

I have to agree with Toppingfromthebottom, good quality is expensive.  I've seen a lot of great deals on ebay on leather and corsets, so far I haven't had the guts to to spend the money and check the quality.

Status: offline 		daintydimples, I have bought floggers and cuffs anda few cheap hoods and a ball gag, and the quality is fairly poor  usually to be honest. Fortunately  for me they were not very expensive items, and I enjoyed them anyway.

Status: offline 		She does more bodices than corsets but Damsel in this Dress is fantastic.  She will also do custom orders. 
Timeless Trends sells underbust corsets for less than $100 and I have one faux leather that I've had for several years that's in perfect condition and does have good structure.  I also have a velvetey one that I got earlier this year at NY ComiCon. 
Toys...hmmmm, make 'em.  :>

Status: offline 		from what i've seen good corsets usually cost some coins. i suppose it would depend on the purpose of the item. if it is for temporary use, training, or something you'd like to get some mileage out of.

Status: offline 		My corset cost 500 dollars, and I got it at a kinky street fair, and it's got steel boning in it, and is very nice. Of course I am a 48 DD and a plus size lady, so my coreset would cost more than a skinnier smaller breasted woman's corset would.

Status: offline 		A good corset that is not just for show is pricey. You can't get away from that. I need mine specially made for me b/c I am very short waisted due to my height (or lack of).

I've managed to find some very nice toys, or make my own. Clothes, you tend to get what you pay for. I'm fortunate I can sew, but working with leather is a whole separate skill, and is corset making.

I would love to make my own corsets though and have been researching it. So one day. . .

Status: offline 		There is a rule I learned to follow a long time ago.

Quality usually makes something worth the cost. If someone is able to make the "Same Thing" and sell it for a lot less you have to ask where they are cutting corners.

It is okay to look for Inexpensive things just be very weary of Cheap things.

Save your Pennies and Buy things ONE AT A TIME.

Then collect as you go along.

It is also good to make friends with those who make things occasionally they will need to unload some things and you as their Friend can clean up on things like that.

Status: offline 		Also maybe try second hand items, I do know there's in sanfransico at least a kinky flea event, and people will bring stuff they want to sell and sometimes there'll be clothing swaps that are free. See if any one in your area's community if you have one would be interested in a kinky clothing swap.

Guess it depends on what you're talking about as well as your own talent and creativity. 
I've made 2 professional-quality floggers, one for less than $5 (I got the material for it off of Freecycle) and another for about $12 (JoAnn Fabrics is my friend). 
Another example: spreader bars.  Materials from Home Depot.  Pine Dowel Rods (That they will cut for you free of charge to your specified length), stained to a dark finish (Because I like pretty as well as functional equipment), metal screw-in attachment points on each end.  I have sets that range from 12" to about 30 or 36" and none cost me more than $5 a piece to make. 
Chain's cheap, so is rope.  Carbiners and clamps for attachment are very useful and also inexpensive. 
There are lots of inexpensive potentials, one just needs to think outside of the box.

I find the idea of using someone's second hand toys revolting but each unto their own. 
Clothes, depends what it is but regular thrift stores can be a tremendous boon.

Status: offline 		I was mostly thinking clothing not toys, and the toys being sold at the flea don't have to be second hand, more often than not it's the manufacture who made them selling them. But then again they're likely to be just as expensive as the stuff online, unless the seller is willing to barter something for their items. * and no not sexual stuff like a service like hjoouse work or something*

Status: offline 		Friend of mine use to say,  the really kinky people don't shop at the sex shops they shop at hardware stores lol.  
To learn some leather working and such you can probably contact your local SCA group they often have leather working going on a few times a year, as well as probably one of the cheapest places to buy leather material is usually through some of their events.
But in general if you want something cheap you go to the original use for it and find a shop that deal with it in the original form.
for example you want a riding crop go to a place that sells horse riding equipment it is almost always cheaper then buying the same thing repackaged for BDSM.

I"ve never shoped here it was just the first one on the list when I googled there are many other places and probably local places you can go to actually see the items where ever you live.
this is a equine store for horses they sell crops and quirts  at a fraction of the cost of most BDSM places.   most of the stuff there is under $10 except the bull whip which is $20  these are are designed for use and not just show so are generally of decent quality unlike many BDSM places selling cheap stuff.

ofcourse ifyou want fancy stuff it gets much more expensive if you just want quality items that do what they are designed for there you go :)

Status: offline 		The places I'm listing are not the best places to buy from, but they are very reasonable in pricing.
XTC Apparel, Latex and Rubber Clothing quality is good
Target Leather Fashion (Pakistan) quality is surprisingly good but they don't accept credit cards
K&K Leather LLC quality is good but items seem to have been stored for a long time before being sold
