This 1948 ground-breaking report was examined by the American Staistical Society for 6 years and found to be some of the best work ever in the field. However, over 50 years ago, doubtless practices and attitudes were different. Be nice to see an another such Report done in the 21st Century.

Very interesting, but highly incomplete. Especially considering it excluded most of the population. and yes I am sure it would be very different if conducted today but an entertaining read. Ty for sharing. RP

There's a movie called "Kinsey" about his life and research. I've seen it playing on HBO recently. You might like it if you enjoyed reading about the report.

Yeah, exactly. I read a very persuasive study of the Kinsey report a couple of years ago showing how Kinsey and his associates were trapped within some prejudices that were pretty stunning. If someone is genuinely interested, e-mail me on the other side and I'll shoot you the reference. (It's not light reading.)
