Hummmm..I know that there has been an advertising element added here.
But I must say I saw some chick holding a dick up to her mouth.

I tried posting some pic's of myself a lot tamer, that were denied.

Very interesting indeed. Mi'Lady tried to post a shot of me in my callor and being restrained, but they veto'd that as well. But a dick shot is ok. Must be something to do with the American legal system. Oral good, kink bad.

Good Morning! yes I sent a complaint to support about the sex pics, I know we need to make money but the blatant sex stuff was the reason I left the other sites--nice to really "see" you brightspot!

If it's offensive, and against TOS, you might notify the Support Team. I found a profile that had dead animals hanging by a man. One can only wonder how it got by, but on a quick glance, it might be hard to figure what the objects actually were. Perhaps the photos that get by are just pushed through by accident, and quick glances.

When I contacted "Support"...they immediately had the offensive photo removed.

I was more than pleasantly surprised by their very quick actions.

K . . . I believe what they have been refering to is the new advertising that
is on the right side of the page. The questions I've seen are asking why the
advertising that is showing things that our photos can not. (not that I'd want
to mind you, but some do) I was a bit surprised & disapointed to see this
addition myself although I do understand the need to cover expenses.
sigh, such is life I guess. It will simply limit when I can be on the site.

I too - had a pic denied - fully clothed, kneeling at Master's feet - from our collaring ceremony. It was a very nice picture indeed with NO <as in zlich, zero, nada> sexual or S&M overtones.

I understand the need for advertisment - it helps pay the bills - but...... come on!!!

Ive been banned, moderated, told to go elsewhere, had pics banned, comments edited or deleted, but though all that I still love the site.

The site needs to make money somehow. Those pictures being rude as they are would attract people. In most countries advertisng with those kind of pics is legal.

I wonder if people in this thread would donote money as not to need advertising?

I guess the answer would be no or they would want something in return. Im sure a quick pm to mod one asking what pay pal account to donote your money too would be gladly appreciated.

I don't think this started as a complaint about the advertising, but as mearly a question. why is it ok for blatant sexual things to be portrayed in the advertising, but much milder and tame pics are e rejected from profiles.

Yes that was more of what I was stating. Possibly now the rules for photos have changed and they've just not had the time to notify us?

Advertisers can easliy provide documentation of the age of the models, etc. etc. With the current legislation at hand, if we want to post picks such as those in the ads, we will have to start filling out forms and faxing in a copy of our IDs to collarme for each and every pic. I don't particularly want to do that. Nor, I'm sure, does collarme want to manage that headache since it's a volunteer run site! They do their best.

Mine was of me standing beside Master, fully clothed, with a steel "stocks"-type device around my neck and wrists, and a leash attached to my collar. It was the best pic we had of the two of us, kinda dark, but tasteful, and it, too, was rejected. Makes no sense to me.

I think those pics (advertisements) may be okay because of permission obtained and signed off from the models, at least that is the speculation.

The pics are nothing more than advertising to pay for this site. I guess other options would be charging members or opening a type of "community chest" where members can add money to help defray the costs.

It doesn't sound like they are compaining about the site advertising, just the double standard about acceptable pics. If its against TOS for me to post a pic of a dick, then why is it ok, if it is in an ad. Either a pic is offensive and against TOS, in which case it shouldn't be posted in a profile or an advertisement or its not offensive and can be posted anywhere. The fact the the pic is in an ad on the side, does not change whether it is offensive or not. If collarme is going to shout offensive when a member posts a pic, then they should not allow advertising with the same pics.

I enjoy the site regardless of the sexual ads but I can certainly understand the frustation of some, including myself, who have had their pics banned which were milder than the pics being advertised. Regardless, I still appreciate that this is a free site. My guess is that the advertisements should keep the site free for some time to come. With that in mind, I can live with the nude advertising.

I had no idea what you guys were talking about...then I realized that it was an ad somewhere on the page.

Get Firefox, AdBlock, and Adblock Filterset.G, and never have to worry about seeing annoying ads again!

Actually i think this is one of the best sites out there for this way of life. i joined and immediately "Un"joined several other discussion groups before coming upon this one. From what i have seen, this is the best discussion group there is. Very refreshing to have open, honest dialogue/discussion/disputes/debates/all out drag down knock out brawls - where just about any subject is fair game to discuss!

i personally rather enjoy it here. [:)]

I have explorer.. Fire Fox.. I have no problems with pages opening up... other than NOW i have to make sure kids are not around at all.... LOL

The pics to me are no more offensive than some I've seen on other sites (or taken myself for that matter.. lol) They're not pop up.. they're just on main page.. depending on how much time you spend on main page... why let it be a bother at all.

To CM official... thanks for trying new things and keeping the site a fun place to kick back and chill.. brawl.. get drunk... with such a great group of people.
