Its amazing, I think there are so many scammers or golddiggers in here,I already encountered two that tells me they lost their job and are having serious money problems. I know its tough so well it COULD be someone tells the truth but I think just as many dont. I just start talk to someone, and when I accepted him to get to know me,so to speak, then he releases the bomb that his contracts been canceled emediately etc. I can almost hear the request for money. Of course,I dont do it,but its annoying, I mean, its not my business especially a person I dont even know or met. Isnt this a indirect request?
Do you also meet many like that?

No I don't. Then again I'm picky about who I talk to.

No. It sounds like someone telling you about their life currently and their hardships. Those things kinda come up when you are talking to someone and in these economic times, everyone is struggling. I don't think it's all that uncommon right now.

If you feel uncomfortable though then just don't talk to them. Why are you so concerned?

No. I don't get contact from anyone like that.

What I do get is lots of African-based "girls" begging to serve me (well, let's be fair, I'm a catch), if only I send them the air fare, for which they will "ruv me rong time".

Oh the neg side, I'm down £875,000.

On the pos side, I've got a shitload of frequent flyer miles.

It kind of balances out.

I'm a sub male and 75 percent of the female "dominants" here in one way or another want your money.  Check out the profiles.  There are so many pro dommes, financial dommes, scam dommes (especially from overseas, particularly the Phillipines) and dommes that tell you in their profile that they demand "tribute" (which is absolute nonsense).

But it doesn't stop there.  Many who purport to be lifestyle dommes are just trying to get you to contact them so they can ask you for money.

I've never sent anybody money and I never will.  I will never agree to tribute -- which is nothing but payment for interaction of a sexual nature.  It's hilariously entertaining to read some of the justifications the dominants will put up about tribute.

But hang in there.  There are literally hundreds of thousands of profiles, and I know there are women here who have absolutely no interest in money and are offended when a submissive offers it.  They want functional and real femdom relationship.  Some just want play partners, some want a collared submissive/slave for life, but in all cases they want the real deal.

You'll find the same.

i've never had those experiences. it is possible you are speaking to someone that is being sincere. i don't recall listening and being empathetic requiring one to write a check. you must do what you feel is best.

Interesting.  The scam slaves seem to be from Africa.

Actually, there are probably about as many scam dommes from Ghana as from the Phillipines, now that I think about it.

Actually, scammers are the norm. But that doesn't mean anyone should give up, coz a) it's no trouble to deal with them and b) they're SO obvious.

As always, there is wheat, and there is chaff.

This sort of thing doesn't upset me.

But then again I've probably been one of these people myself. It was a few years back in Warsaw, I was street homeless in a cold and wintry November and December, the snow on the streets kept falling and was knee deep, temperatures ranging from zero to minus twenty and I had nowhere to stay, nowhere to go, and nobody to turn to who could really help me.

I was on Collarme at the time (and a couple of other sites) I had active profiles and yes I admit to asking, trying, trying anything.

You see when you're packing cardboard down into the snow and burying yourself deep in newspaper, more cardboard and whatever else you can find and you try to sleep for not much longer than an hour, or until you feel yourself losing consciousness and edging towards death you do indeed become desperate.

Nobody of course responded, it took me almost a month with the help and kindness of people who were struggling themselves to get out of the situation.

Now the African scammers is something different and yes I have come across such people from time to time but I am less likely to judge and more inclined to show nnderstanding and compassion. Times are hard, people do lose their jobs, their businesses fail, they lose their homes and though I've never really been in a position to help them I've often expressed my support, understanding, and wished them well.

After all, how much is my compassion, understanding and few words of comfort costing me here?

Only two?  Oh your time here has hardly begun.  Give it time.  You will find many more.

I am more likely to talk to a poster then someone out of the blue.   That cuts all the crap.

DO NOT SEND MONEY TO OTHER USERS FOR ANY REASON!

Read about Common Scams and Online Safety Information

No offense, but if you are short, or balding, or a little heavy or a bit older, and some 26 year old 5'7" blonde thats 130 lbs approaches you, although it CAN happen, its not likely to be true for YOU. Also, if that is all you are contacting on your end, whatta ya expect dude? Just cuz you think they are a scammer, (and they might be) its also possible they want money to be with YOU. Possibly, just possibly, (I'm just guessing here) if you emailed someone that was closer your age and physical characteristics you might have a bit more luck....but then, some want the golden apple or nothing. Keep reaching dude, and good luck!!!!

**That was not only to this poster but to many of the whiners in this thread**

I knew a guy in New Hampshire owned a bar and married a Russian chick. They were married for about six months and she took out a bunch of credit cards in his name and ran up about $80k in charges/ cash advances and stole other money and things from him and split. Never saw her again.

Hey Popeye, chill.

I love America. Proud of it. But we've got our share of home grown scammers, man.

And the rest of the world is not evil. Plenty of Russians, even ones on dating sites, that are decent and hardworking. Chinese, philipinos - hell, the islanders in my crew when I worked a deck were the hardest-working, most honest and friendly chaps you could stand next to without violently killing them for being too much better than you are.

Had a kickass Russian dude on deck too. One of our best cooks, and a very decent human being. When you live in close quarters with these people for weeks and months on end, you learn to figure a dude out, and he was no scam artist.

Now, American women tend to piss me off much more often than the foreign flavors do. There's a feeling of entitlement that tends to get them to f up their own lives and blame the men in their past for it; and that really sets my teeth to grinding sometimes. I can deal with it; wheat from chaff, etc., etc., I just nod, smile, and avoid the worst offenders, but the guys who take a risk on the non-american ladies might not be that misinformed, in my opinion.

I think your coming across ever so slightly xenophobic.

I know a reasonably large number of Australian men that have married Thai or Filipino women.
Ive witnessed long and happy marriages that are still going
The women, I met (some who have become friend)s as far as I can see make their husbands happy and they are great people.
Family orientated, hard working, loyal. I only remember one bad egg out of the lot. As far as Australian marriages go it seemed the Thai Australian mixed marriages seemed a lot more stable than the average.
Pick a culture that respects marriage, get to know the girl and her family and don't think you wont still have to work at your relationship.

However as I'm not Thai but just one more greedy foreigner please, feel free people to send me money.
