this is my first post on this board, outside of my intro, so I thought I'd start with something halfway fun.

For all the 35+ crowd, do you think that your interest in the lifestyle (and bondage in particular) was inspired by Mrs. Peel, Batgirl, and to a lesser extent Trixie (speed racer, if you knew who I meant you get the nerd no-prize) always got tied up every week...ussually in really interesting visual (though not handy sexually) positions.

I know it had an effect on me, and a lot of the folks I've talked to over the years get that 'far-away gaze then dirty smirk' look when I ask them about it.

Btw, anyone wanting to play Mrs. Peel...I do own a bowler and a sword cane, though I look like a fool in one and never found a use outside of roasting marshmallows with the other

You know i do remember some of that, but i do not have any recollection of why i want to be tied. So i would have to say that is not the reason for me. I think as my mom said to me one day, that i was independant at the age of 4 and went off and did for myself, so it could be i was tired already of being grown up and in charge so i longed to not be?

If we are going to include those damsels in trouble in the 50's, 60’s, and etc we must include Mod Squad with Peggy Lipton who was bound and gagged. She had that long blond flowing hair when she was kidnapped and was left to be rescued by her two partners. My love seeing a women bound and gagged was way before Batman third season with the introduction of Batgirl. Thank god for Baby sitters who allow me to tie them up and gag them?
