I am looking for discrete collars for my sub. I'm not really into leather but I like velvet and fabric. and I don't want any spikes or rhinestones or big O rings. If any one has a link or a suggestion please, please, let me know.

It sounds like you're looking for a velvet choker.

I'd try chain mail. I know here in Arizona there are alot of local vendors who make there own chain mail, and will do custom sizing and coloring. to the unknowledgable vanila the necklace will look like just that, a necklace. but to people who know they'll see a collar.
Damage industries is one of the local vendors for me.

Other than that, yes. a velvet choker would probly be your best bet.

I actually had to make one for Slave as I could not find one that was not very obviously a collar.  I used 3 strands of silk cord, pony beads, and some nice sterling silver I had left over from another project.  I used one cord to tie around two  for 18 stitches which gave a revolving pattern and alternated the silver with the beads.  When it was long enough, I kept tying around the overlapped ends and used superglue to secure it before cutting off the stitching cord.  It looks and feels like a necklace but is plenty strong for a collar and can only be removed by cutting it off.

Lady

Edited to add:  I have made necklaces before but had never mastered cord tying.  It was so easy, I could probably take a series of pictures and show you how to do it.  The results were beautiful.  Even his ex wife commented on how lovely a necklace it is.  LOL!

Thank you all so much! i checked out all these sites, and though i didnt find what exactly i was looking for, I came up with an idea to make what i was looking for by looking at all these examples. I now have designed and made 4 different collars. thanks again!
