Heart of a Slave



An aching heart; an untamed beast
Depesperate for the touch of her Master.
So strong is the desire to please Him.
The desire comsumes her entire being.
She can't eat, nor sleep, nor breath
Until she feels she has satisfied Him completely.

Without His strong touch, strong words and soothing voice
She is nothing.
Comfort and peace is found
but only through Him.

She is never satisfied with her service
She wants to give so much more than she is able.
In her mind nothing will ever be good enough for Him.
He deserves only the best.
But no matter how hard she tries to be everything he needs
She knows there is no "best"

Still she tries day in and day out,
And in this struggle to be the slave that He deserves,
she loses herself to Him even more.
The need to please Him is something she cannot run from nor try to fight.  
It consumes her heart, her mind, her body, and her soul
The truth flows through her veins..
She is His slave.
