I can't speak for how it comes up in conversation for anyone else but anyone who dialogues with me for any length of time and achieves any level of rapport learns that I am extremely sex-positive.  I love sex and I don't have taboos about talking about things; in fact, I hope that the openness I have about the subject in someways causes small changes within an overtly negativistic society. 
With partners, by the time we've reached the point where we're going to have sex, there's been conversation about std status, previous partners, preferences, our own physiology, etc.  So, between the sex-positivity and 'things to address prior to doing the deed', that's how it generally is a no-brainer for having been discussed for me. 
Also, everyone has things that they prefer.  Some people have stronger preferences.  I have some that are pretty strong and I make no apologies about that; I know what appeals to me and why generally.

I think women have a certain level of penis curiosity. But really, it's the guys who are always measureing against each other in the locker room, or at the play party.

*laughs* I wouldn't know. I think of myself as "average sized" although Carol disagrees. It's never occurred to me to put a ruler to it. It's never occurred to me that being larger or smaller could be anything other than either neutral or bad if it was too large/small. I guess, in the end, my sense of worth doesn't derive from anything sexual much less something so trivial as size. Any woman who would select/deselect a partner on this basis would be pretty incompatible with me in any event.

As littlewonder said, I have never in all 45 years offered up what size I am. By the time some woman has any right to that information, she can measure herself if she's into it.

Playing Devil's Advocate....I don't have a Penis....I have never and will never have one... but I know that the way I see my body, is different then the way Master sees it... Oh, trust me, MissO, guys will use any trick in the book he can think of to gain that last 1/4 of an inch on a ruler. It's all vanity, in any case. Well this is one American woman who can say that she has never known a guy's cock size going in. It's just never come up with anyone I've slept with.
