quote:
ORIGINAL: Drifa I've encountered this as a pickup line just once. I was sitting in a gay bar, at the bar, reading a novel while waiting for the drag show to start (a relative was doing a drag number that night). A man nearby in business clothes came over to me, explained nervously that "I am not really gay, I just come here because the drink prices are good." I was polite, but not encouraging. He persisted, and I told him, with good eye contact, "You may not be gay, but I am. I am not interested. Thank you." That's when he trotted out the line "But I have a 9-inch pecker!" I was excruciatingly rude in reply, and asked the bouncer to get rid of him, which was done with some alacrity. Why this stuck with me was that I had already said, in clear terms with no ambiguity "NO", and he thought that by mentioning that his penis was 9 inches long was somehow going to change my mind. Sheesh! [color=#000000 size=2]That is right up the alley of stupid things that have been uttered. I'm bi. It does it for me. But I detest the line 'you're only that way because you haven't met the right ...(incert whatever gender works) yet. Like that will sway me toward them. Sometimes it is just better to keep your mouth shut, and gracefully accept No as the answer. It's just ignorant.
