WHEN I DIE
Will you remember me when I die?
Will your life be empty, will you ask God why?
Will you just stay at home, and will you cry?
Or will you go out, get drunk, laid and high?
You can be honest, ain't afraid of the truth,
What will you do with the rest of your youth?
Will you forget me by the next day at noon?
Or spend your nights baying at the moon?
What will you do when I'm long gone?
Will you dance each night through till the break of dawn?
Will you hide away and become withdrawn?
Or party with your friends out on the back lawn?
Will you put flowers over my bones?
Or sell my stuff for tickets to the Stones?
Will you lose your sweet smile behind a dark frown?
Or go out for a wild night on the town?
What will you do when I'm in the ground?
Will you sob out loud, or cry quiet without a sound?
Will you smile when noone's around?
Or throw yourself on my burial mound?
