I totally agree with the idea above that you are in control of your reactions... it's a matter of choice. When i'm not sure how to react or what to do, i do nothing initially... sit still, think, sort my thoughts...then act rationally. At times i've even told myself not to respond to an email for a whole day... 24 hours...to be sure i wasn't doing a knee-jerk reaction to something. Hope some of this helps somehow. Good point. Most the time- I just take a break. I might have worn out my welcome. Anyone gets tired of too much of one person. Which if they thought I was upsetting- I tone it down quite a bit for what comprises of a good portion of bible thumpers.
