Right now it's a little problem. It may be nothing.  If so, then you will be fine. 
It may be something.  If it's something, chances are it's a fairly simple, albeit inconvenient fix... Now.

Well, yes this happened as a result of a fall. 
Umm, yes my arms really did hurt alot after the fall, but I really thought they would get better in a few days if I took it easy.

Don't look at me like that! I couldn't take any time off work anyway to go get it checked out.  I needed the money. 
Besides, I didn't have a ride!

Well, when you put it that way, yes my arms are worth more than a lost day's pay/or attitude from my bitchy sister for having to take me to the Dr/Hospital/Urgent Care Facilty...

God, people, I was going like, 3-5 miles an hour on my rollerblades. Do you REALLY think it could be THAT serious to go see a doctor?

Anyway, I've checked with someone in my office who took some medical courses and nursing and whatnot. She said to ice it. And if by Friday, its not better, go to the doctor. I'll take her advice. I bought an icepack, I'll ice it in two hours. If I still hurt, EVEN A TAD BIT!, I'll go to the stupid doctor. v.v

SHE says its a tad swollen and might just be sprained. If shes right, Ice and time will fix it. If its a compression fracture or a hairline fracture, I'll go on Friday... Or.. Whenever my dad has a day off this week or next. He might have Monday off.

PEOPLE! I was not hit by a car, thrown out of a car, beat up, or anything!

IT WAS A STUPID CAT ON THE SIDEWALK! I got up like, a minute later, skated home, ate my Subway, watched House. I swear, the most I have is a scraped knee!

I don't have brittle bones. I drink TONS of milk and other sources of Calcium. I take my vitamins and I think I'll heal up just fine. Its my MOM thats worried. I told her I'd get a second opinion. I am not in that much pain. I can't touch it. I can't lift anything over the weight of a LARGE water bottle.

If you make me go and my doctor says it was a waste of time, I'll  be pissed!

I don't need self defense against cats... I didn't wanna run it over. Of course, I still don't even know if there was ACTUALLY a cat. As soon as I got up, the cat was entirely gone. So, if I hallucinated the cat, I better go get help. I hate cats...

I know someone that fractured his ankle walking out a door and down two steps.  Some days it doesn't take much to fracture a bone.


The someone was in a walking cast for 8 weeks, and didn't want to believe he was seriously injured either.

But hey, it's your body, your pain.  Enjoy!   Personally, having insurance, I would be dragging my ass, arm, or whatever to the nearest medical facility for examination.  Especially knowing that in two weeks, the insurance is gone, and all costs will be out of pocket.

I e-mailed my doctor directly. She usually responds in a day or so. If she doesn't respond by tomorrow morning, I will go ahead and leave a message with a nurse or even just ask the nurse. If she wants me to come in, I'll come in.

The way you pass out tests, though, is surely going to give someone cancer!

When I was younger I attended karate classes and three times I broke my thumb...the third time my coach did not take me serious and said the same nonsense that I would not be able to move the thumb when it would be broken...of course that was bullshit as I went to the doctor the next days and it was easily to see on the x-ray that it had a crack.

And OP regarding cats not moving...yep, I know that one...I have 4 of them and on some worst days they lie all on the floor in the morning when I go to the bathroom and none of them bothers to move...their peace of mind I would like to thave...they seem to rely heavily onto their 9 lives...[8|]

I wasn't doing contact sports. I skated 4 MPH over a dumb cat. My doctor is probably gonna tell me to ice it and take some anti-inflammatory medication. I already e-mailed her.

Cats suck. I wanna shoot them all between the eyes. ._.
