Andalusite -> RE: Females Treated Differently Than Males (9/28/2009 8:13:28 AM)

LaT, so far, most of the men I've talked with since getting involved with my Master have been very respectful that I'm taken, and we were able to just have interesting conversations (mostly about forum posts and whatnot). LP, I agree that things are *MUCH* easier for women who are new to topping and/or D/s than for men who are new, but it could very well be more a function of gender than role. When I decided to look for a playpartner, I literally got an offer the moment I expressed an interest! I don't think that happens very often for men. I'm not new to topping, but I was a submissive for 3 years in my last relationship, so I felt like my skills were a little rusty, and I'm specifically interested in trying new things. Both my Master and a Dominant she plays with occasionally are interested in co-topping with me to teach me a few things, and I would probably have a lot more interest from others we're not involved with, if we choose to look into other skills.
