Umm, if they say right in their profile that they are a MTF trans who is attracted to women, how do you consider it to be misrepresenting themselves? Just because you're too lazy to read the profile before sending an e-mail doesn't give you the right to determine which boxes they should pick. Collarme doesn't have a "monosexual" option, so they have to pick whatever comes closest.

VioletGray,

I know it must surely disturb you, that there are some actual females on this planet who find cross-dressers not the least bit to be a good thing, or any other person for that matter, who uses the software at Collar Me specifically to misrepresent themselves, which places myself and other genetic females at risk of sexual assault and maybe more.  When a safety issue exists, I will speak about it LOUD AND CLEAR.

You state: "T
hose who list their gender is "Female" but mention that they are transgendered are not being misleading."

Honey, I have no idea what dictionary you are reading, but female means a GENETIC FEMALE.  Since males cannot be females, as they cannot change their genetic code, if one says that they ARE female, that is misrepresentation; AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND DECEITFUL BEHAVIOR.  If you misrepresent yourself, then you ARE being dishonest.  Sorry hon, that is something that you cannot overcome.

From what you have written above, it seems clear that you believe gender is soley determined by the physical being as comfirmed via genetics.
As I stated before, I am not convinced that the gender identification that exists within the brain is any less valid.

You list as "Trans" and you list as "Goddess" and your features are not exactly classically feminine.

Do you think other people have the right or obligation to define who you are?

Is your issue that other people are judging you based on their own prejudices and ignorance?
Are you 'lumped in' with people who identify as a gender different than the one they were born to?

This is not meant to be combative; I am just trying to better understand your point of view.

Once again, I will reiterate and make very plain that ANY GROUP OF PEOPLE, INCLUDING CROSS-DRESSERS, who deliberately misrepresent their gender, use the software at Collar Me to do so, and the result becomes a circumstance where myself and other genetic females are placed at unnecessary risk of sexual assault, or any other criminal act, I am going to stand up and address the issue as LOUD AND CLEAR, to the extent that I can, making certain that I use all available means at my disposal, to warn other genetic females about the problem, and all others who could be potentially impacted by such intentional acts of deception.  I will continue to do so wherever, and whenever it occurs, whether or not you like that or not.  This thread is about, specifically:

Misrepresentation By Crossdressers Concerning Their Gender And Sexuality

Since you apparently have friends who are cross-dressers, then you have an obligation to also encourage them not to engage in this kind of behavior, as it places myself and other genetic females in unnecessary danger; when it does not need to be so.

The fact that any person no matter how they identify themselves can misrepresent themselves online. That is a concept we all know. I fail to see how the ones who are TG or TV's are being singled out in your rant. My obligation is to treat TG and/or TV in a manner that they wish to be treated....nothing more, nothing less.

I find it interesting that the op thinks people are lying or misrepresenting themselves if they do certain things and thinks liar's are so very dangerous. I finally read her profile because she came to mine and low and behold... the husband she mentions here a number of times is not mentioned on the profile. I feel that is a huge misrepresentation... She is an expert in many, many things and offers much... except the truth of her marrital state.

I'd still like to understand how meeting somebody in a starbucks puts you at risk of being physically abused, whether they wear a dress, pants or nothing at all.

Well, some of those baristas do look like they're pretty close to the breaking point.

Many people misrepresent who and what they are on the internet all the time. This is nothing new and should not be shocking to anyone. If you are fearful for your own safety then take precautions, you are an adult you should know what they are. If not read up on the subject.

Crossdressers have every right to be here just like anyone else and to spew hate their way only makes you look bad. Another thought, life is to short to waste hating it away.

Having read through the entire thread and received two long messages from the OP more closely I'd just like to add the following..

First I'd like to point out that a genetic female to me indicates a genetically complete female - i.e. born with a vagina and sexed as female at birth, developing physical reproductive organs at puberty and having the necessary socialization to be fully competent as a parent and model patterns of female gender role behaviour from the bonding of her offspring after birth for the rest of its life. In a nutshell, a natural born female.

The vast majority of genetic heterosexual males claim to have a preference for forming relationships with such females, but it is more than this, it is a deep seated need in their genetic make up crucial to their functioning in the gender role they have been socialized in. I don't have an issue with this. Not at all.

I applaud the OP's stance against the transgendered misrepresenting themselves on Collarme and perhaps the OP would like to start with herself. I am also a 'mosaic' transgendered female but due to this abnormality in my genetic make up I would never regard myself the same as a genetic female, I never have and I never will and I have expressed this view on a number of occasions on these boards. (I'm going by what is written here on the thread and the profile).

Oh and I have no issue with anyone knowing that I'm on the program at London's Charing Cross Hospital.

And here we have the primary reason why the transgendered - all those from crossdressers to people like me and the OP and the intersexed - do not enjoy more widespread social acceptance. It's not because of prejudice from genetic males or genetic females, but because of the hostility and prejudice from those within the transgendered community themselves who seek to speak on behalf of the entire transgendered community and misrepresent them through their ill-informed opinions.

While I can accept that a very small minority of transgendered individuals may wish to misrepresent themselves through claiming to be a genetic female to other people (irrespective of whether it is on their profile or not, and who are we to say that they do not reveal this in their first message?) I find this to be no greater problem than the non-transgendered i.e. genetic males and females who also choose to misrepresent themselves but on the whole the vast majority of transgendered are honest and open about who they are.

Finally in my experience I've learned one thing holds true. If you have to tell someone who you are, then you are very clearly not.

WTF is a trans dominant? (Do I even want to know??)

And check out the OP's journal. Seems some pesky CD tried to get her banned from someplace, thus the rant.

It's really a shame so many of the actual females on this board are SO DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE because I brought up a topic concerning safety, the software on this website, and my issues with a situation that transpired here at Collar Me.  I am going to have the final word to also let all of the thread highjackers and those who made personal attacks against me have had their posts reported to the administrators, and I intend to see to it, to the extent that I have the ability to do so, that the moderators wind up enforcing the Terms of Service that is posted on this site against each and every single person who made a post that I found was necessary to report to the moderators..

I truly pity each and every one of you who engaged in this behavior in my thread.  It is not only a disgusting example of the lowest form of bad manners, but it accurately represents the personal moral compass of the people who thought it was cool to make light of a serious subject, and who thought it was great to demean and insult me for the truths that I wrote about today.  Their personal moral compass apparently points directly at a place that I never go to:  immaturity and exploitation of others.

Hold on, aren't you the one who said you had a hairbrush for another poster? Did you think that was the height of respect for those with a different opinion or something?

Why yes you were. I'm sure Miss Manners would agree this is the most mature way to handle a difference in opinion and the mods will be thrilled with your behavior. Truly beyond reproach...

My oh my, sweetie are you having a bad hair day?  I just love it when people get rankled by my presentations!  I do not have access to the server statistics, nor the time to review each and every profile at CM, and I love it here at CM; I just KNOW you are not intentionally being snide with me, now are you?  I'll just chalk up your consternation to the fact that I actually managed to get the subject of honesty and cross-dressers on this bulletin board.  I have a brand new brush, never been used, maybe that will help your hair

on the first page of the thread, post 19.

The OP is like so many others who post "warnings" thinking we are stupid and can't figure out liars on the internet on our own... be it gender, marital status, age, country of residence, financial status or other characteristic.

i accept peoples' gender/sex as they want to represent themselves.  i don't worry about if they are lying or not.  i probably won't be jumping into bed with 99.99% of the people i talk to on the internet.  i probably won't be meeting most of them in person.

i can watch out for myself and i don't need an angry, dictionary toting, bigot to "warn" me about anyone here on CM.

Example of rude behavior one has only to look in the mirror. I suspect if a banning will take place it will be for the disrespect shown to all of is here.

I really wonder why I'm being included in the "people who made personal attacks" group. Because again as I stated I made no attacks on anyone, and only asked for clarification on the information that was posted in the Op's profile and subsequent posts.
