Round 2 of 5! So, if you don't see your favorite, don't bitch (yet!). Hell, don't bitch at all! Less kvetching, more voting.

i voted for 2001: A Space Odessey .  i love the way Director Stanley Kubrick used familiar classical music.

According to Wikipedia  "Kubrick decided that he wanted the film to be a primarily non-verbal experience, one that did not rely on the traditional techniques of narrative cinema, and in which music would play a vital role in evoking particular moods. About half the music in the film appears either before the first line of dialogue or after the final line."

Pulp Fiction.

Seen that movie well over 100 times.

An interesting thing about movies (2001: A Space Odessey released in 1968) and literature (1984 published in 1949) that were originally set 30 or 35 years in the futue is that they are not nearly as thought provoking after that date arrives.  Now that we know the future, the future is no longer unknown.

Pulp Fiction.  A Tarantino classic.  Incredibly acted, artistically assembled, and the one-liners flew throughout that movie (My ex- and I used to say, "Buddy Holly's not much of a waiter" whenever we got poor service in a restaurant...yes, dorks, I know, but happy memories, lol!).

None of those movies really blew my dress up, but if I have to pick one, then Raiders, since it is entertaining.

I agree with windchymes, Raiders. Although thinking about it, King Kong, is a vintage classic.
