This one was a hard decision.  i really like Katharine Hepburn and Humphery Bogart, but i voted for The Graduate.  i was in college when this movie came out and fell in love with Dustin Hoffman's character.

Millers Crossing.....

It was a Great Flick but I wonder how many here have actually seen it.

I LOVED IT.

This was a Harder Round.

Still wondering where Confidence is at.

Hey there Steel. Confidence...hmm, I had to Google it; with Ed Burns?

And I agree, Millers Crossing is a kickass film.

Hey Ron. Hmm, I'd suggest throwing a dart to pick one, but that'd just fuck up your pc [:D]

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.  Pathos and incredible acting.  A powerful flick.
Cool threads, Level!!!  :>

Duck Soup.

For me it was a relative thing, I just compared each to the rest of their respective lists . . . ..

I tend more to top ten, or 40, or 100 lists . . . . . But actually, if you make me pick just one all time favorite movie? Yeah, Roger Rabbit . . . . . Does that make me bad, or am I just drawn that way?

Lots of really great movies on your lists, most of which would be in my top 100 movies of all time, along with a lot of obscure old & / or foreign flicks . . . . . I'd definitely wanna add Bertolucci's '1900' to any all-time-greats flick list . . . . . But, hell, lets talk top 100 comedies of all time, top 100 speculative fiction films, top 100 serious dramas, then we can start to encompass all the brilliant cinema that's been made . . . .

Thanks, Davan; I had a lot of fun (and I think others did, too) with my music polls, so I figured that some movie ones would be interesting.

Kia: thanks, and yes, we could split things up into genres, really pick things apart. Duck Soup is an awesome comedy.
