MistressFuXyoo -> Saline Injections for tg/ts breasts (9/27/2009 12:51:21 AM)

Hello .. i am an m2f tg/ts and am "more than curious" about saline injections for "breast enhancement"
I apologize if this topic has been thrashed before ,but creating ya own post seems the most economical/time efficient way of cutting to the chase
Questions include
1) Locations in Australia ( if applicable)where performed
2) Price $$$
3) toxicity /potential for medical complications /body rejection
4) approximate duration of desired effect =
5 natural contour /natural looking or random swelling leading to potential
  assymetric appearance

thank you kindly in advance :)

just saline injected to the breast tissue would only be a temporary enhancement.it is also a bit on the painful side if you get too much instilled in one spot. essentially it puts fluid outside the normal cells and like a bruise but without the blood will slowly reduce over the same time as a bruise on you would go away. next have you considered a fat trans location where the Dr takes some of the living fat from your stomach area and tunnels it to the breast to give a long lasting effect and no rejection. next have you started the estrogen therapy?  this may enhance the breast tissues some but with the testosterone still being produced by the testes it may be helpful to get a estrogen patch and place it on the scrotum to help block the androgynous effects and allow the breast tissue to become more affected by the estrogens. i hope this helps but as with all medical procedures get background info on the MD like how long and how many of the procedures that have been performed.

MistressFuXyoo: I'm also a MtF TG, and was on very low doses (.625 to 1.25 mg/day) of estrogen (Premarin) for 1 1/2 years. The usual dose for transexuals is about 5 mg./day. So even though I was taking about 1/4 the normal dose, I still have had some breast growth, which is very noticable if  I wear a T-shirt or go topless. The breasts usually grow to about a B-cup after 2 years on 5 mg./day of Premarin. Some TGs and TSs use injectable Estradiol, but I don't know the dosage. I also take Provera (10 mg./day for 10 days a month...the normal dose) to mimic the monthly female cycle). Provera is a progesterone that stimulates breast growth and mammary gland formation (in males, that is).
Spironolactone is also used by most TGs and TSs. It's an antiandrogen (slows the production and especially the absorption of testosterone into the blood), and is also used for treating high blood pressure and peripheral edema (water retention, especial around the ankles). I believe the normal dosage is 100 to 200 mg./day. I take 20 to 40 mg./day.
(I take lower doses of Premarin and Spironolactone because I prefer women and don't want to make any permanent changes or become impotent, and have no intention of ever having any surgery.)
I would shy away from any surgery to relocate fatty tissue...my doctors cautioned against it because of the risks (which may apply mainly to me...I'm not sure). I'd also avoid injecting saline solution. Though I don't think it's as risky as fat relocation, there is the risk of infection and of puncturing a blood vessel, not to mention the difficulty of achieving a symmetrical appearance and the need to and risk of repeating the injections.
There is also a creme called estraderm (or something like that) that's applied externally over the breast area, but I don't know of anyone who uses it or how effective it is. It's sold over the counter, so I personally wouldn't go that route.
Whatever you decide to do, I strongly recommend doing it only under the supervision of a physician, specifically a urologist who is knowledgable about transgender issues and has other TG and/or TS patients. Regular blood work is needed because of the risk of damage to the liver, thyroid, pituitary gland, etc. There is also the risk of blood clots (coronary and pulmonary). This is not meant to scare you away...it's just good to know. Most of those problems were the result of taking too much estrogen (in my opinion), and neither I nor any one I know has had any problems.
In addition to all this, everyone's hormonal levels are different, and these "meds" affect different people differently. If you're sure you want breast growth (which is permanent even if you stop taking hormones), I advise you to seek out a good urologist.
Hope this helps.

Hi.

I suggest asking a medical doctor, but I see lots of great answers here. Thanx for that excellent question. Lots of crossdressers and transgendered come to us for training and advice so this info will come in handy for us.

Patches have no competition, it's the best but see a doctor first.

Actually sissylover.. not sure if you understood my post
and on estrogen/progesterone therapies i,d be more inclined towards estradiol valerate injections or subcutaneous implant : seem more efficient ways to achieve  desired effect
