Verfor99 -> Meeting with a local sub under the rains (9/27/2009 11:02:28 AM)

So this past weekend (yesterday), I had the occasion to meet up with a nice local sub girl who was in a quaky period in her current relationship, and despite the Grand Atlanta Rains we've been having (the resulting floods I have been told have made national headlines), we managed to have a share of fun together. I first took her to a section of downtown that she had not been to yet before (it's almost entirely antique shops, how can they all survive next to each other?) and took her out to an incredible Mexican hole-in-the-wall restaurant there. I had then planned to take her down to the State Fair, but the rains had mussed that plan and so we opted for spur-of-the-moment pumpkin carving instead. It was quite a blast and we watched Bruno together as we did so (as a minor sadist, I found the film delightfully offensive). O hope to have another chance to meet with her again; preferably on a dry day when I have the good car to myself so we can visit the fair, or barring good weather that I should bring a small portion of my many Legos (you just can't buy them on-the-spot anymore, they're way too fucking expensive these days).
