Thank you Everyone for responding,& also a special nod to those who shared their personal stories.

I wanted to know if falling/being 'in love' (as opposed to loving them) with your submissive or slave 'changed' the D/s dynamic for you.Apparently for quite a few it intensifies it - this is Good news.Also,the temptation to perhaps temper or 'soften' things does not seem to be the overall experience ...& for those who initially felt that way,they seem to have successfully worked through it. *S*

You know - I have a relationship with my Master. We started off as any couple. Dating, talking, enjoying each other, discovering. We stumbled on the fact that we had this common interest. I had never really explored mine, but it was getting harder not to. And He was true to himself - and his power radiated from him. I took a chance and expressed myself.

I had a vanilla relationship that trust grew and allowed this to enter into - and it has made it better, but it didn't make it first.

I don't think I could have this type of interaction with anyone else - someone I didn't love first.
