Imagine you are stocking the first aid kit for a dungeon where 25 people might be playing.  Dungeon is a no-limits dungeon allowing blood, scat, knife, needle, urine, fire and breath play.  What should be in the kit?

mops and hot soapy water, kotex, benadryl, betadine, butterfly bandages, saline solutions, name off the deed, an escape route, with a cache of money and new identity hidden along the escape route.

I am with Ron here.  You definitely need heavy duty cleaning gloves, basic janitorial equipment and the type of cleaning solutions that could be found in a medical supply store.

Oh, and a couple of fire extinguishers.

BTW due to an offline comment with somebody, the kotex was not a joke, I mean maxi-pads that can be soaked in betadine, and slapped on any large gash, not just the kind with moving parts in them.

A cell phone that you know works, and a hospital plan, because you aint gonna fix many folks up if it is bad, just keep em from cakking till you get them attention.

Bottle of oxygen if you can store it away from flame and cigarettes.

Sounds like a better plan would be to have the dungeon at the home of whoever is closest to the hospital. Or gets the quickest ambulance response. Test each house and see! ^^

Well, if everything goes right, everyone can go out for drinks after, but with 25 (somebody is gonna get a threesome, and I will volunteer to lead that charge) folks in a no holds barred situation that outcome is not likely, but neither is a catastropic outcome, if everyone is sensible.....but prepare for the worst.

Bolt cutters, somebody will eventually forget the handcuff key. EMT shears, sharp knife. Vet wrap or duct tape can provide enough pressure on an artery till you get to the hospital.

Ron's absolutely right about kotex, it's a large bandage which will absorb a fair bit of fluid.

Bandaids,unsterile gloves, bandage scissors, shears, alcohol, dermabond, tribiotic ointment, alcohol pads, ammonia capsules, coban, sterile 4x4's, abd's (or kotex [:D]), condoms, lubricant (you never know), aleve, tylenol, blood pressure cuff and stethoscope (surely there will be someone who knows how to use it), AED, silverdene cream, sterile saline, saline eyedrops, an ample amount of common sense, and equal amounts of humour.

That should about do it for first aid. [:D]

tweezers, wooden equipment and a sliver in your ass is not a fun time.

Other than standard kit stuff I think the suggestion of bolt cutters and tweezers are rather astute.  I also like witch hazel and cotton for overworked bumholes and general clean-up.

Since you said fireplay is allowed, something like this wouldn't be a bad idea:
Water-Jel Burn Kit
and something like this would be a good base kit, with play-specific additions as suggested above:
Multi person first aid kit

I used to be an EMT, and Galls is the EMS toystore [:D]

BTW, I third/fourth/fifth/whatever the suggestion of maxi pads. Cheaper than trauma dressings, sterile and they soak up a hell of a lot of blood. I used one on a friend when he got stabbed, and other than his embarrassment at showing up at the ER with a maxi pad strapped to his arm, there was no problem at all [8D] My training officer once used a tampon on a shooting victim. Worked great, and the pt made  it to the hosp alive (and pissed off, lol). That said, having some tampons on hand wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I would add a few burn sheets and some triangle bandages. Maybe some ice packs and glucose gel.

Perhaps making sure someone trained in at least basic first aid is there as well.

I believe a Field Medic Kit is a good Idea.

It is really Spendy, however this is something I believe any club or play space that is used by many needs http://www.allthingsfirstaid.com/Advanced-Trauma-Care-First-Aid-Kit-Ss46004.asp And more than that it need to be refilled on a regular basis.

If there is anything in a First Aid or Trauma Kit that you DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE then you should take the classes necessary to use them. I can Reinflate a lung and Perform a Treacheotomy if necessary. I can Use Suture Kits and if none are there know what to do to use household products.

NOW Saying all that I will also say this, if everyone is responsible there is no reason that your first aid kit needs contain anything more than Bandaids, and Mints.

But there is usually some asshole trying to iceskate uphill no matter where you go.

Well, if I ever keel over, I hope that someone screams "defibrillator" and not "AED", because I'd venture to say a large percentage of the local population where I am wouldn't have a clue what an "AED" is.  Including myself, and I pretty much suck at acronyms anyway.  I had to Google it.

I do know how to use one, however.  The instructor called it a........defibrillator.
