Predicament Bondage Last night, I had the pleasure and privilege of attending Midori’s Predicament Bondage workshop. Predicament bondage is an activity in which a bottom is put in such a position such that it creates a conflict of desires. Note that this type of bondage doesn’t require ropes… it can be mental bondage as well. Midori also stresses that the outcome for enduring this situation to the Top’s satisfaction has to be positive which can be termination of the predicament or a reward. The negative reinforcement for not performing to expectations can be adding constraints, not giving a reward or a punishment. She did 3 demos. My favourite of the 3 began with her getting this cute little rugby player volunteer to strip down and tied his arms behind his back and ankles to a spreader bar. He was made to bend his knees and a string was tied to his balls and cock and then to the spreader bar. If he straightened his legs, it would stretch his genitals. If he kept his genitals comfortable, his thighs would burn. And she layered this with other predicaments and the scene lasted nearly an hour. He was actually impressive in his endurance and Midori radiant in her dominance and the scene was nothing less then thrilling. I realised that without knowing the specifics of predicament bondage, that I practice it on a regular basis. This workshop was wonderful in that it helped me step outside myself and analyse my activities and get a better handle on the dynamics that I engage in. And much to my sub’s pleasure/dismay (oh don’t we love those contractions), my mind went racing into a million variations on the theme! So now, have any of you participated in predicament bondage activities and have you any wisdom or advice to share? Inquiring sadistic Dommes wanna know!!

Midori is wonderful, and so is Amanda Wildfire if you ever get a chance to see her talk on the topic. PB is something That can be great fun, I'm not a bondage enthusiast per se. But I love predicament situations. I love to play two subs together and have them in situations were their lips are dangerously close to the others genitalia, or even the simply act of if you move you will be impaled upon said object.. and once impaled there is no telling what may happen. I'm not drawn to endurance masochist for mascochisms sake, but more drawn to PB for the humiliation aspects of it. mmm... nice thoughts running through my mind. Ms. Eden

I didn't know it had a name. I think humiliation is a form of this. Putting a sub between a rock and a hard place, but without the physical bondage.

Midori will have Ya saying damn now why dident I think of that! The things Ive see done with pearls in Midori's hands are just perfection! I more enjoy the humiliation factor as well in PB. Ive practiced PB in photo sessions for years and use mirrors for double effects on long term PB with hair. Yep hair bondage is a really great predicament bondage tool and makes for a great multi position choice level. Morpheus and Deja do sum great work as well in PB. But Charlie Ashman I think is the best Ive ever known in PB and the use of shibari and wet materials thats sun dried for slow PB styles that are the most Sadistic and humiliating Ive ever seen. Yes, Midori is just so full of fantastic ideas. Perhaps my most favourite little idea of the evening was to secure an uncooked quail egg with eyelash glue to the lips to form a very fragile gag. How divinely cruel! I also adore the humiliation aspect of the predicament bondage. That and the pain factor all ties into my sadistic kink. My mind has not stopped scheming! bobbeme, being a tickle fan, that would be really twisted position to be in. I doubt I would of survived that scene. I couldn't imagine having the focus that would be required to keep the brown liquid a bay while someone is tickling me. I think the only thing worse would be to be blindfolded part way through so you really have no clue how close the brown liquid is. Along a similar line, I have heard of a Tickler out west that likes to bind her ticklees so that there is a rope that runs from their arms through a pulley to nipple clamps and from their balls through a pulley to their feet. I am very much interested in PB. Unfortunately, I haven't had any real experience with it. I am more interested in the pain and enderance aspect though then the humiliation aspect. I am very curious to know of different situations people have been placed in.

I've used a non-physical form of this to train slaves to accept themselves and figure out the whole world doesn't really care about what they do. Interesting Shrew… I must put myself in a Predicament everyday. I wear business attire everyday with the raciest lingerie underneath because it contributes to my overall empowerment.
